I am begging you to contact Kevin Bassinson for an interview for his work on the export version's score. An isolated score option for the export cut would be outstanding as well.
I know the set has been produced and already released but yeah the score made by Kevin Bassinson really is a piece of art, even if it's only an isolated track it's better than nothing. It shouldn't be lost to time and degradation
I really wish we could get US Region releases of all the Eureka releases. Seems like they are providing by far the best versions of Jackie Chan, and from the looks of it, old kungfu movies in general.
For sure we can't always have it too good whatever region. In Europe here I'd love way more Criterion releases but very limited UK releases! Now that 4k is generally region free it's great for all us consumers, I don't see the need for region locking at all!!

there are 1080p versions of each film (PS1 has the OG HK cut in 4K, and then 1080p presentation of the export cut and then a bunch of other cuts that I assume are upscales because it doesn't specify, while PS2 will have 4K extended cut and then two other cuts in 1080p - the HK theatrical cut and the export cut, and then again a bunch of other cuts that are assumed to be upscales given the product info doesn't specify) but on the same 4K discs, so you'll need a 4K player to be able to view them. I don't know what version of PS3 will be 4K and HD and not but assume there will be one 4K and one 1080 (don't know if that had different cuts, assume it would have going by the previous 2 movies but if not then guess it will be the same cut twice one for 4K one for HD at least). Eureka released PS1 and PS2 on regular BD a couple of years ago and then I think they're also releasing PS3 on regular BR along side this UHD trilogy set too. The previous PS1 and 2 editions though particularly PS2 had complaints of an intrusive yellow tint to the colour grading so it remains to be seen if this will be fixed in any of the cuts/presentations in this set (Eureka if you're reading this please confirm, particularly for the 1080p presentations as I don't have a 4K TV and want to get the set for those but will probably avoid if the colour grading isn't corrected)

I think the 6th (Police Story 2013) has nothing to do with the original Police Story series. Jackie plays an entirely different character, a China police officer, taking place in mainland China. Yes!!! Police Story 3 is a masterpiece!!
I'm so happy it's finally getting a blu ray release.
I have all 6 of them, I'd love to have the first 3 in 4k. Supercop is my favorite.

Great! and the Eureka Drunken Master 1 and 2 UHD boxset just in time for Christmas too please!
really?

That would be insane! Especially because 2 is hard to find nowadays
Drunken Master 2 is owned by Studio Canal in the UK so won't happen.
Wow... This trilogy deserves the upgrade!
no fucking way. is this real? police story 3 finally on blu ray?
Police Story 3 aka Supercop is amazing.
My favourite Jackie movie
I had the VHS but had to buy a HK import DVD as it just wasn't available over here.

it was already on HK Blu ray.

Next up: A Better Tomorrow trilogy and other Chow Yun Fat classics please!

This has made my day, can't wait.👍
Glad I held out on the criterion version. I’ll take this. Thanks, Eureka
I didn't hold out but they are releasing supercop 3 seperate... may have to double dip any way 🤪
Just saw this is the 4k edition. Definitely picking it up 💰
Shame the fourth one isn’t in this set, but still pretty cool.
No fuckin' way. I love you, Eureka
Released under licensed from Fortune Star Media Limited and Paramount Pictures (Miramax Films and Dimension Films).
Stephen Chow Kung fu hustle and Shaolin next pls!
Oh my god yes.
Daaaamnn!
Will this collection contain the blu rays as well or it will only have the 4k versions?

A better tommorrow trilogy next
THIS!!!
Just realised the dub goes by his Jackie's real name and not his characters actual name
Day one buy on these three classic Jackie movies -- wish this trailer showed the 4K comparison better it's rather poorly edited tho during a cut :(
holyyyyyyyyyyyyy
wow
Is the Japanese cut for the original police story going to be on here?
It doesn't look like it. But it is on the 2 film collection that eureka has for sale right now.
Will this be All Region/Region Free...??
