The Merusea village and the Mamere/Mary-Ann questline overall reminds me so much of Made In Abyss.
They are literally abyss creatures/humanoid mutants born from a bunch of people dying inside of Elynas.
They live in a village inside of a carcass.
Rene uses the same abyss power to transform Carter into an immortal agonizing purple goop.
And don't get me started on the chasm!

Yeah, she's basically just a human with bunny ears. The more disappointing part is that she'll probably be the only playable "melusine".
Personally I think Mamare would have been way more interesting as a playable character. Just give her a vision and she's ready, maybe they could even integrate her friends into her kit

Technically speaking. Yeah, I understand. Hoyo didn't want to put the whole resources and money to make a melusine playable character, so they made her human with melusine features. But hey, I'm sure the modders can make our dream come true. 😅

If the Melusine have trouble fitting in human society, like clothes and furniture. Why can't Neuvillette just tell a tailor and furniture maker to create something fitting for Melusine. He been in office probably over 500 yrs and he didn't bother to ask someone to create stuff for Melusine.

I don't reeeeeally have a problem with how she looks, she's cute af. What I don't like is that she's the only melusine Mihoyo decided to make playable...
We have 46 Melusines, only one of them has human features and that's the ONLY one Mihoyo decided to make playable... It's a bit sad, I just waned an actual playable Melusine, like Mamare for example, I think she couldn't been awesome.

Sigewinne is but far the ugliest Melusine in the game, but she's still enough of a Melusine to be cuter than every other playable character. There is an explanation for why she looks the way she does, and after learning it, I forgive Sigewinne for transmogrifying herself. I do not however forgive Hoyoverse for requiring her to.
