Always great to see the cornball movies that look like a Masterpiece compared to today's movies. The crew just makes it even better.
This film scared me so badly as a kid. I went from not being at all frightened of the dark to needing a night light. Entirely off this movie.
When my sister and I were pre teens we watched Island of Terror.
It's British.
Couldn't hang my feet over the side of the bed for years in the dark... lololol
Today I laugh my ass off when I watched it a few years ago..
love this flick. Sort of a star studded cast of the 70s. Great to see Jed Clampit so sophisticated.
Made for TV movie?
LOVE your show.:)
Your production value is off the charts!!!!
TY, The net needs more shows like yours...
This is a good one! Remember watching it as a kid.
Love this old made for TV 📺 horror movie 🍿 and I’m looking forward to seeing it Saturday night.
Thanks Creature Features.
I knew of this movie, but had never watched it before tonight, so this was a real treat and in good company too. Surely, the best of times. :)
I watched it before here on CF about a year ago. Great fun then as it was tonight :)
Always nice to see you here :)
@@janetcraft, it was great to see you too and to chat with you. :)
@@TorontoJon Thank you TorontoJon :) The same :)
Thanks!
An awesome 70s celebrity cast! 😍
One of the flight attendants was Darlene Carr, who played Karl Malden's daughter on The Streets of San Francisco.
Cool movie "Horror at 37,000 Feet". Vincent, Tangella, Mr. Livingston and guest Matt Forristal were awesome!
I saw this on TV as a kid in the 70s and loved it! I remember being psyched because Captain Kirk was in it. :)
I often wondered how awesome the original Star Trek series would've been if Captain Kirk and Jed Clampett were part of same crew. This classic 70's t.v. movie is the closest to this ever happening! Loads of familiar faces makes this an entertaining watch. So buckle up buttercup and enjoy the ride and the horror at 37,000 feet!
The Professor from Gilligan's Island is also in the movie.
sea: You know Gertrude is my co-pilot, right?
She doesn't have the experience, (not yet) of taking the control of maneuvering an airplane.
This doesn't look good - especially when we are at 37,000 feet.
How you may ask did she get her pilot's license?
Who knows. Only goats can tell.
@@janetcraftAfter the captain and co-pilot failed to return from investigating the strange happenings in the cargo hold, an announcement came over the intercom....
" ladies and gentlemen I hope you're having a wonderful flight. There is no need to worry but does anyone know how to fly and land an aeroplane?" Everyone turned and looked at Janet and Gertrude. After all Janet did tell everyone before the flight how Gertrude was her co-pilot. Janet smiled nervously and made her way to the cockpit followed by her "co-pilot"!
Janet: "um...don't worry Gertrude, it's probably like driving a car....with wings." Gertrude nodded but couldn't see because the co-pilots hat was to big!
Lucky for everyone William Shatner was on board! After dispatching the monster in the cargo hold he took control of the plane and landed it perfectly and everyone lived happily ever after!
THE END!
@@janetcraft I see the sea. The sea sees me.
@@seacampeon8729 And Buddy could have done a dance number if things hot boring.
Okay gang, I’m enjoying your show a lot and have caved and subscribed. Having a quick look at the extra selections I’m very pleased I have!
Thanks for all the RUclips freebies but the ads are killing me and I’m happy to support the channel and enjoy the offerings!

Captain Kirk, Barnaby Jones and The Rifleman

TY CF!!! You guys are the best!
Oh yeah... can't wait for this one
Great movie with amazing casts too 👏👏👏👏
I just saw a great sci fi spoof called "Alien Trespass". CF needs to get a hold of this great movie.
Coincidently, Russell Johnson (the professor) actually was a navigator on a B-25 during WW2, and was shot down over the Philippines.
Russell Johnson appeared in a lot of Westerns and Science Fiction movies before he starred on Gilligan's Island.
Tourist Trap with Chuck Connors is an incredibly terrifying horror movie and it's rated PG
Tourist Trap also starred Tanya Roberts, who played the last new angel on Charlie's Angels.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Us young guys back then sure appreciated Tanya. I even like here in the Bond film. RIP.
@@jaleach123Tanya Roberts died in 2021 from an urinary tract infection that developed into deadly sepsis.
Thank you. Much love from East coast Australia
“William Shatner, and… other people” 🤣👏👏 best ever
Morton Stevens composed a great score for 'Horror at 37,000 Feet'. He also composed excellent scores for the classic 'Hawaii Five-O' TV show and also for a shark movie called 'The Great White', a movie likely inspired by 'Jaws' (The track called 'Tiburon: Movement 2' is particularly great and a lot like a John Williams composition). :)
Gotta love those seventies movies. Weird and whacky. Always with the hysterical , helpless woman. The oh so awful fashion and hairstyles and somehow you can't stop watching it no matter how ridiculous!
This is hands down, no bullsh--, my all-time favorite schlocky tv horror movie of all _time_ . (I mean it's even better than "Gargoyles", which is _also_ my all-time favorite schlocky tv horror movie of _all_ time.) I seen it on my recommend and I dropped everything and started watching. How can you go wrong with the Professor, Cpt Kirk, Jed Clampett, that guy who was in "The Wrath of Khan", I think and the Rifleman? I only wish that "Monolith Monsters" was available.
Wow, William Shatner and Paul Winfield star in this movie and they starred together in 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan' (1982). 🙂
Paul Winfield played a police commander in The Terminator.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc, yeah, Paul Winfield was a great actor. He was the Police Chief in 'The Terminator' as you mentioned and he was a judge in some trial movie (perhaps 'Presumed Innocent' with Harrison Ford?) and he was in 'Damnation Alley' (1977) with George Peppard, Jan-Michael Vincent, and a very young Jackie Earle Haley. Paul Winfield was in tons of movies and various TV series too (and in 'Star Trek: The Next Generation', etc.). :)
I really liked him. He was a great character actor 😀

You do a great job you guys
I like all the movies you uploaded on RUclips
Oh my! I loved the breaks as much as the movie! New subscriber! Thank you for posting this movie. It may have been the first time in my very young life that my mind had something to chew on other than christiananity. Nostalgia!
Ooh this looks good!
Ah! Flying in the easy breezy carefree 70s! Walking around the cabin with a flaming torch! Lol
Yeah...These were the days...
New Subscriber to your channel. I love watching the horror and thriller movies from many years ago. Vincent you are cute so thats a bonus too. 🙂
Hello Creature Feature Family! I recently discovered your channel and have been loving it. I saw that you take suggestions, and I would love if you covered The Changeling (1980) with George C. Scott. It is hands down my favorite horror movie, which obviously doesn't mean much, BUT, Guillermo Del Toro said in an interview he thought it was one of the scariest movies ever made. As a bonus, it is pretty RUclips friendly as there isn't any gore or nudity. Regardless, thank you for your work and best wishes.
CREATURE FEATURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ✈Ill be watching! 👀
Lift 6 foot, 7 foot 8 foot bunch whoa that's alot of feet. Awesome pick with the Rifleman Chuck Connors and the Tin man ole Buddy. Awesome cast❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU CF
Great movie! I've seen it a few times but never with awesome horror hosts and really cool guests. I must admit, I am a great fan of horror movies, and the whole Creature Features format brings back memories of childhood and watching movies with horror hosts. Around timestamp 1:25:39, it reminds me of the Beverly Hillbillies (loved the show) and a warped darker version I've thought for some time I would like to see. (Music is the Beverly Hillbillies tune...)"Come and listen to my story 'bout a man named Jed. The poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed. Cut up his neighbors, put 'em in a stew, and cooked 'em up good for me and you. Well the first thing ya know old Jed's in jail, the kinfolks said "Jed you're gonna go to Hell, but he broke out of jail and made his way, to southern Cal-i-for-niA. THE BEVERLY HILLS CANNIBALS". Then, you know, just the banjo music playing the theme. Granny and Jethro are the worst, by the way! She's a good cook, and he wolfs down anything.
France Nuyen looks the best I’ve ever seen her! And once again with Shatner!
Yes, France Nuyen appeared in the episode, Elaan of Troyius in Star Trek, the Original Series.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc and Suzy Wong, Kung Fu, and this. I’m sure there are a few others they did together. At a live show he said she was a terrible actress when she did Suzy Wong. Either she grew as an actress very quickly or he’s a bad judge of talent, because she’s a fantastic actress.
@@stevenhandzel5929William Shatner is very critical of a lot of actors.
@@stevenhandzel5929Coincidentally, Today is France Nuyen's 85th birthday. She was born on July 31, 1939.
Love it!
Has to be the safest flight ever. The Rifleman and Captain Kick on one flight ... what could go wrong? 😊
Don't forget Barnaby Jones!!!
That Terminator cop dude just keeps on popping up, a great surprise.
“It’s an instrument it won’t lie to you” 😁.
Looking forward to this 😁👋🇿🇦
What absolute beauty! Creatures Features I'm watching this one with nice bottle of Australian Pinot Nior! 😂😂😂 🍷 Certainly not French after what I saw with Olympic Opening ceremony.
Sadly you were not the only one...Some things just can't be unseen...
Yeah, no kidding. The Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony was so grotesque on so many levels and really detracted from the athletes and from when French culture and history were showcased in terms of language, art, music, literature, architecture, science, medicine, engineering, philosophy, etc.
@@TorontoJon I don't want to rub it in but...If shocking people was their goal then they certainly succeeded...
I know a couple of people that would love a tangela version of the doll with teeth.
Im surprised they never mentioned Buddy Ebsen Jed Clampett in this movie he was a big star back in the 60s and early 70s.
your 7 last words explain why they weren't mentioned
Thank you 🥤🍿
great great film
I just realized this is approximately 7.008 miles up in in the sky 😂I see what they did there now
Scotty will not be beaming the captain up LoL 🤣😂😊👍🇺🇸
It's just so painful watching Shatner
I liked this one ....
I miss the days of TV Guide.
I have watched this movie three times already.
Witch means when you add the distance of 37,000 feet times 3 times = 111,000 feet means that you are almost near or past Earth's orbit.
Witch means the next time Creature Features shows this film again - we would be travelling into space and nearing the Moon's orbit. Witch means we have to deal with William Shatner's drinking problems while we are in space and deal with Uncle Jed's confusing remarks. I will make sure I wear my PAN-AM jump suit and shoes and take the empty glass from Mr. Shatner away from him as we drift in Zero-G gravity.
Witch means, I'm gonna jump off this plane.
CREATURE FEATURES: "Hey Janet! What about your parachute??"
JANET: "No need!! I'm getting off this movie! I know how it ends!!

Witch means: Stay tuned! And I hope to see ya ALL soon :)!

@@HorrorRod "Witch Which" was also a board game by Milton/Bradley. But I think I know what you mean when you mentioned Angela Lansbury. Thanks HorrorRod :)
....Janet suddenly wakes up to see Gertrude and everyone else in the plane looking at her. A stewardess with a frown on her face leans over and sternly whispers to her, " we don't WOOHOO AND WEEWEE here! People are trying to relax!"
Janet sheepishly responds, " sorry everyone! I think I had too much turnip juice and I just watched Dr Strangelove the other day... and um well you know....sorry again." The stewardess removes 5 empty bottles of turnip juice and tells Janet, " now sit back and try not to be so loud!" A little later Janet leans over to Gertrude and says, " you know that dream seemed so real! Funny how you watch something and then dream it, and your in it and it seems real." Gertrude nods. Then Janet looks out of the window and to her horror she notices a gremlin on the wing!
JANET: " THERE'S SOMETHING ON THE WING!".........

Didn't Shatner do this sort of thing already in
The Twilight Zone?
With a Similar Title?
The episode was Nightmare at 37000 feet.
Yes :)
Got a cast of well known actors…sound effects heisted and blended from War of the Worlds and the first Quatermass film…Shatner as a defrocked priest is amusing…isn’t he Jewish?..Paul Winfield always good to see…another Trek Star…Shaka When the Walls Fell…our favorite faux Brit, Tammy Grimes, tho she was married to a couple of them…Damon the Bow wow does the reverse hot dog thing…Buddy Epsom salts..he danced with a tiny Shirley Temple you know…Chuck Connors, Sarge from the second Airplane comedy…sans his Winchester saddle gun, and the Professor meets Mr Freeze without Mary Ann or Ginger to thaw him out…France Nguyen puts in appearance without her Star Trek Cocker Spaniel hair do…and little Buffy sans Jodie…or Mr Fwench…Grandpa played first base too…definitely made for tv quality…reads like a bad episode of the Love Boat…most of these bozos are drunks and obnoxious at that, besides being selfish jerks…Yawn…
Why didn't they Sacrifice the Evil lady instead of Shatner?.
Thanks for the Upload!💀
Tammy Grimes {Mrs. Tinder} was married to Christopher Plummer and is the mother of his daughter. Remember the episode about "Tracy the Plumber"?
Tammy's daughter, Amanda Plummer played Honey Bunny in the film, Pulp Fiction.

I Love this movie, just watched it this year for the first time. With that being said, I can't barely enjoy it right now, the voice sync is funky. I'm assuming, A.I. had a hand at trying to remaster this one, and I hate it😢 thats on the mobile and the TV
I noticed it. I was watching this on my new ACER laptop and I can see the sync and visuals were kinda off. But not by much.
Yea it wasnt too bad on smaller screens, what the annoying part mainly was, is that it wasn't just an out of sync issue, the mouths were also glitching, as if their lips were sticking, and being stuck closed while they were trying to talk. Like I've never seen a movie that was out of sync accompanied by lip glitches. Lol, if its an a.i. remaster, then i hope they chill on that, I'd rather watch the less quality ones over those😆
@@basickben Ya, me too. I find a DVD upload or Blu-Ray is just as good and the quality is there. No need for any AI tool to make things "better." Heck! Even a good VHS factory sold tape (the kind you buy in stores back in the day) would work just as good. Thanks basickben for your opinion :)
@janetcraft 💪🏾😎 i just wish I could ignore that type of stuff sometime🙄😁 I watched a video on how A.i. ruined Aliens and True Lies; and I wish that was a True Lie😅 Smudge Faces, enhanced Wrinkles... yea, mankind better dial it back another year or so😆🙃
@@basickben . . . or even a few years back. Overall, I find Creature Features movies in good condition. The quality looks good. May be in this broadcast something just didn't "click." I don't think it's their fault. I would however like to know if anybody else noticed it compared to previous broadcasts. Let's see what will happen on this coming Saturday night's show.
I have more money in my wallet right now than what was allocated for this "movie's" special effects.
Sometimes iconic actors gotta take the paycheck.
Yay! Watching later!
Saw this when I was a kid and it scared the bejeebers out of me. lol
MATT! PORTLAND LOVES YOU!!!
Thank you all for taking off tonight! I do hope ya all had a safe flight.
(I did pack in a parachute just in case. But didn't need to use it).
Hope ya all have a safe and happy flight this coming week - and see ya all real soon again!
Thank you for flying Creature Features :)
Captain Kirk and Captain Tyrell on the same flight and they can't figure this out looks like a job for Mister Spock
Lotsa stars!
I wish Mr. Livingston would adopt me...I'm a good kid.
Matt shuts down Tangella! Uh oh!
That cast... why can't studios make films that pull together the giants of acting anymore?
Today's actors demand so much money.
Why do the faces keep morphing like it was created by A.I. it is really weird? I think this was "enhanced" by A.I. it is constantly moving and jumping frames during any motion.
....& other people.... I laughed so hard

I missed the first 60 minutes or so, but I'm guessing that the Horror happened at 37,000 feet because that was when all the passengers realized they were on a plane built by Boeing.?
It WAS before the planned sabotage of Boeing and DEI.
🤣
I noticed the model plane they used for this movie. It looked like a 747 - but somehow it didn't.
If it's Boeing
I ain't going!
Is it just me? Did it seem like a few frames were cut during the take off scene (exterior sequences)?
They didn't show Russell Johnson in the credits, why's that ?
