Here is some advice from a null gate camper: Burn out of the bubble if the thing camping is a heavy cepter and crash gate if it's a dicter. Overheat your prop the second you decloak turn it on and click cloak as quick as you can. (This only works if you are going against solo gate camp, there is not really much you can do if a pack of folks are sitting on gate with hyena Bubbler and Insta lock thrusters)

If you have a nullifier hit it while you decloak and since you can just warp it would be smart to align with something instead of burning away directly from the camper and warp after getting out of the bubble.

@@andygao7020 Yeah, that does work, if you do get caught in the bubble already, perches, safes etc pervent you getting caught by the camps coming into gates.
But I do want to make a little something about running away from bubbles later down the line, and your advice is solid.

If you're in a ceptor, just crash the gate, overheat prop mod. Even if you get tackled, you're still fine 99% of the time.

I would have liked you to show how to actually execute gathering and using such a bookmark... I have difficulties to comprehend and understand it. For instance despite having a bookmark I would still need the gate to warp anyway, wouldn't I? So I would have liked a demonstration. This video leaves me with more questions than answers... all talk, no show. :(

If you warp directly to gates, you hit the bubbles on there. The making of the bookmark has been shown in the video, so I do not understand that part, but then, instead of warping to gates directly, you warp to the perch, assess if it is safe to take said gate, and then warp to it to take it.

@@GildiiAuscent Yea, but assessing whether a gate is safe would mean to get to know the other side, the other/next system, wouldn't it? And how a bookmark helps with that I don't quite understand. Because the jump still has to happen to a fixed gate, doesn't it? That bookmarks are helpful, when escaping I understand. But you talk a lot about bubbles and such at gates and I don't understand practically how a bookmark would help to evade or escape that. anyway, thanks for your reply and care. most others seem to get it. the fault lies with me.

@@herzallerliebst So, if you are already in a system and want to check if there is a bubble on your exit gate, you would use a perch. That way you warp to a perch that is far enough away from the gate that you will not splash at the bubble/drag bubble, making you potentially hitting a can that might uncloak you, or if you are not cloaking, just get locked and disrupted. Then, you can make the decision of "do I wanna take that gate and keep going or is there someone already visibly camping here, so I will take another route or go back/filament out, etc."
So it helps you in the system you are in, but for pushing over to another system, nothing helps you other than scouting with another character or having someone provide you intel from the other side of the gate. So this only helps with current system, so you don't go face first into a trap, but I am planning on making a short video in the future about what to do if you take a gate, and there is a bubble (which was nicely summarized in another comment below).
