Wa Alaikum Salam. I went during Ramadan when it is very busy. But if you go around 10 to 11 before zohar then it is not busy.

Yes, nothing is required to enter the mosque. There is an area in the mosque called Riyadh ul Jannah, and to enter it permit is required, which can be booked using an app.

The only segregation is that there are few parts that are designated for women, and men can not enter that part. Otherwise, there is no issue in entering the mosque.

Mosque is seperate and rhe grave is seperate, the grave of muhammad saw is in the locked room of Ayesha ra .
Its not inside mosque
