    Both these people had jobs when they landed so useless to interview them. We need interviews from people who left their good jobs and landed and searched for jobs!

    As a born Canadian I must speak about the food, when Canadians visit other countries we eat their food so as to learn more about the people, I find that all the East Indian friends and new Canadians try only to eat Indian food thus missing out on becoming a True Canadian,, to be of the country eat their food no matter what country. You will never be truly of any new country
    unless you eat their food. If you wish to be Canadian then begin with the food and the feel the country do not isolate yourselves from the whole community of Canada, if you do isolate yourselves you should think of returning to the old country. This is my recommendation to you immerse yourselves in the culture of Canada to be truly successful.

    • @anilk3165
      @anilk3165 6 лет назад +8

      Bruce D.....invalid point....you are talking about once in a while, not everyday....For sure, if you go to any other country, you cannot eat that food everyday round the year. Same thing with anybody , how can anyone can develop hatred on the food which has been used to it from their childhood?
      Another thing, in order to become true citizen of that country, food is not the criteria. Totally irrelevant point.

    I was a PR holder of Canada too, but i returned back to my home country India. I am forever thankful for the Canadian government that they gave me and other immigrants an opportunity to explore this beautiful country.
    1) Expensive Real Estate
    2) High Insurance
    3) Extremely Cold weather (looks fancy in pictures, but when made to stand in -20 degC for 5 minutes, u can hear the bones cracking).
    4) Culture - Just missed my Culture - All the festivities (Diwali, Ganpati, Holi)
    5) Jobs & Salary - Mostly jobs are in retail and food outlets. Most of the companies (like Tesla, Walmart, Google etc) are US based with no HQ's in Canada. So one cannot compare the opportunities in US to Canada
    6) Family, Friends
    The above views are personal, and have no intentions of influencing your decisions. The only good thing that happened during my stay was nice Canadian people (all races), who were extremely extremely kind. I met people of European Origin, Carribean Origin, Indian, Middle Eastern & Chinese. They made my stay pleasant. Thank You Canada, love and respect. Given a chance, i will surely visit the place again but wont think of settling.

Going for a walk when it is snowing is magical and will get you out.. Its why we like hockey and ect.. Its all the kids really have to keep themselves busy!

    1. That for couple to get Canada PR, they (both) MUST take IELTS and WES. How true is this? U thought only the primary applicant need to MUST have WES and IELTS?
    2. Do u need to do all your certificate with WES? Some one with BSc, does he need to also do WES for Secondary certificate? I used to think u just need to do the most relevant and or Trent certificate?

    Another quite helpful video I must say. Thanks a lot for this kind of information straight away from new immigrants. Apart from the facilities we get to know about the challenges that one can face. Also the tips and suggestions given could be very handy to cope up with the conditions. Highly appreciable effort. Please work upon more videos like this. We would like to know how a new immigrant can get basic help of food, shelter n job in the initial days. Also I hv heard that we need to get some paper work done as soon as we land there like, health card, driving licence, tax card etc. Another thing is what kind of apartments or houses can we get n also the cost, once we understand functioning of the place. Please try to cover all these concerns.

    How do I get in touch with Kishore or Ashish ? I am looking forward to take an internal transfer and move to Canada. I have few questions regarding the same. Did they submit their Express Entry profile first and then spoke to their respective managers for initiating the transfer or it was the other way around ?

    • @DreamAbroad1
      @DreamAbroad1  6 лет назад

    • @soureesh21
      @soureesh21 6 лет назад

      Many thanks for the reply Sheetanshu. How did you guys manage the timelines ? As per my understanding, once I submit my EE profile, I will be in the pool of candidates. In the next cut off round, I might be given ITA. Then I have about 60 days to submit my documents. After submitting my documents, it can take upto 6 months for processing. How did you guys parallely manage the PR processing along with your internal transfer ? It feels one has to be quite lucky for both things to happen hand in hand.

Does the lack of graduating degree make them ineligible for the Immigration program?

    • @DreamAbroad1
      @DreamAbroad1  6 лет назад

      Thanks a lot for the kind words. As you might be aware that their CRS system is designed in such a way that they award points for various factors including different levels of education, having a degree/diploma increases the points. If we can’t clear the draw then we can try for various PNP programs. So it depends on the CRS score one can can achieve.

    Fellas, no offence but how did you manage to get good score in IELTS speaking? I am fully positive that you both may have good control in Reading, Listening and Writing but not Speaking. If you hadn't, you guys wouldn't have been there now.

    Can i get visa for Canada?

    • @DreamAbroad1
      @DreamAbroad1  6 лет назад

      Yes. You fulfill the basic eligibility criteria. You should try to score CLB 9 in IELTS which would increase your CRS score. Means 8 in listening and 7 in rest all sections.

    Hi, Thank you for the video. I and my boyfriend are planning to move to Canada. He just passed out from the university as a civil engineer. I just finished my LLB (University of London). Can you please let us know whether civil engineering jobs are available in Canada (as far as we know there are) and any chance of getting into the legal side with my LLB? I also would like to know of the IELTS marks needed in the civil engineering field. Thank you so much for all your videos. Hope you would see this & reply me. Cheers

    • @DreamAbroad1
      @DreamAbroad1  6 лет назад +1

      Hi, scope of civil engineering jobs is really good as it is in the top 10 in demand jobs of 2018. For lawyers after making entry as a PR holder, you would need to get a registration/licensing to pursue your career further.
      Also IELTS score is irrespective of any field, best is CLB 10 but if that is too difficult then even CLB 9 would give you a good CRS score.
