Sorry I'm 7 months late with this one lol, new characters will all have their BnBs done within the next 2 weeks (probably honda first). I worked on this during EVO so I wouldn't be doing 4 at once now the three new characters are out.
For a slightly better super conversion, instead of ending in medium stomp into metsu shoryu, ending with light red fireball does a tiny bit more stun. Unscaled medium stomp should do 100 stun vs red fireball doing 120 stun, while both doing the same damage while not being much harder to do.
I don’t know if this was mentioned in the video (and this is an older video) but for a better conversion into Raging Demon with a VT2 activate you can do j.HP, cr.HP xx h.Stomp, cr.MP xx m.Stomp xx VT2, cr.HP xx h.Stomp, cr.MP xx m. Stomp xx Raging Demon.
Couple of months late (lol). But even now in season 5 the optimal 2 bar combo in the corner is j.hp > cr.hp xx heavy axekick > cr.mp xx ex tatsu > medium red fireball > ex dp. The alternative is to do instant air fireball instead of medium redfireball. With air fireball youll get 10 more damage (season 5 dmg buff to air fireball) and with medium red fireball you get 10 more stun. Its also worth mentioning while youre in v trigger 2 the above combo is better to do compared to doing a CA or even demon combo in most cases. If you exchange the medium red or air fireball with ex redfireball(not really worth it resources wise) and end the combo with misogi (hp+hk). Youll do like 20ish less dmg compared to a CA/demon combo however you will do 200 something more stun, you still have 1 charge of v trigger 2 left possibly and you will have better oki(you can do misogi overhead setups as an example). In short only do CA if youre absolutely certain that 20ish more dmg will be the difference between killing the opponent or not.
Is there ever a reason (outside of styling) to do ex tatsu- insta air ex tatsu? Seems like id be spending meter and the risk of dropping the command for little pay off. I mean for what you get from those combos. Just make it 2 normal ex tatsu commands for ppl who wanna burn meter. Feels like a waste. The insta air ex tat can be ducked under. If they changed this. Would it make kage too strong?
Apart from the addition of v-skill 2 (I did a video on it) and doing medium DP after medium tatsu (instead of light DP), it's pretty much 100% still accurate. There's a few minor things like being able to dash cancel vs1 too.
@@Bafael what is the better combination of v skill and v trigger? Season 5 of Sfv is my the first season I've ever played. I picked up the game and championship edition for 30 bucks.
Jess Agpaoa Yeah I agree, I feel like they’re just overdoing the Evil Ryu look now. Ever since 4 it’s been out of hand and it’s only getting worse from the looks of it
