The Swanage Autumn Steam Gala 2016

Day one (Friday 14th October) of the three day Autumn Steam Gala at the Swanage Railway, featuring 30053, 31806, plus visiting locos 48624 and 53809. 34070 Manston was also running, and the two shots we have will be included in the end of year roundup.

The fade from the model to the real station building was all Alan's idea Bob. In fact I didn't even go in the museum. We'd not been to some of the locations seen which meant that a lot of the line was new to us. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it. All the best mate.

That's an interesting new location in the opening shot, I presume that's on the northern extension? Nice lighting for some atmospheric effects you had. Good use of the two cameras for the crossing of 31806 & 48624 at Harmans X.

Yes it is on the new extension Andrei but not every train went down there. We don't plan anything in advance with the two cameras. We just do our own thing and see how it all pieces together. Thanks as always for your comment.
