Paula, you are a better woman than me! I would have not made it past day 3 LOL. I agree with your comment about the Infinite Shine line having a more prominent shimmer. I think this helps me figure out which polishes finishes from each line I'd want to pick up from now on (as long as they continue to release the same colors in both lines. I hope they do). Great video!

lol! It was tough!! I’m not used to keeping polish on that long normally and I was itching to change it but I held out. I hope they go back to releasing the same polishes in each line too. I’m glad it helped. Thanks for watching and commenting!! ❤

I admire you for keeping the same polish on for so long! I change mine every other day because I get bored.
Great experiment; both lines lasted incredibly well; however I’ve noticed the infinite shine line has deeper shades. I bought some of the zodiac collection polishes, and noticed the difference between the 2 lines.

Hi! It was tough, especially with the chips and tip wear happening!! I too like to change every few days. Hopefully this week I’m going to pull out the few polishes I own in both formulations and do a video comparing them. Maybe more shimmer, etc. accounts for the higher price point. Thank you for watching and commenting!! ❤

Happy Valentine's Day❣️. Enjoyed the video, interesting to see the comparison. I wear quite a bit of OPI, overall I like the IS better.

I can see how the IS may be a better choice in some finishes for sure. Like with this one with the shimmer that was so much more prominent in the IS line. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!! ❤

Yes, it was in at least my last two videos. I feel like I’ve been wearing this polish forever! It was so nice to change it!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!

I am not shocked that there wasn’t a huge difference between the two lines; however, I am shocked at the difference in tone of color between the two!!! The fist day the tone looked identical until you pointed out that the IS one had more green shimmer yet each update I could see the complete difference between the color of the polish itself!!! 😮 fascinating 🧐 thanks for sharing 😊

Hi! Yes, I was surprised that there was such a difference in appearance between the two. I’d replied to someone else’s comment that I have a few colors that I own in both the regular line and IS line so I’m going to pull them all out and do a video to see if others have such differences or if some formulations are possibly closer between the two lines. I’ll get that done next week so stay tuned if you’d like to see it. 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting!! ❤

I think they wear and apply the same. But I usually buy my polish at discount retailers, so I will always opt for the IS, if available, since they are the same price in those situations. Also I've noticed the IS to be more shimmery, glittery as you noted in Nessie.

Those are good points. And you are right. At places like polishpick. com where you can get them discounted it may be worth getting the IS in the case of shimmers or glitters. As I was looking for a polish to use in this comparison, the same polish in both the IS and regular line, I noticed I had quite a few to choose from. I think I’ll do a video showing them off together to see what the differences are in the appearance between the two lines. Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts in a comment!! ❤

This is some dedication! Thanks for detailing all of this. Interesting. My conclusion is that they pretty much are the same in terms of durability, as the wear you had seems random and could have happened on either. I'm a cheap-ass, so I will just buy the cheaper one!

Yes, for me the wear was quite similar, so I’ll stick with the cheaper one (unless there’s a sale on IS 😊) too! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi, for the infinite shine one, you just need regular acetone to take it off or it’s like gel that you need cotton, acetone , file… etc? Thanks

Hi! Just regular polish remover works. Thanks for watching!! ❤
