Not mine, This is a nico nico upload! This is so well done, And i love how They Used different art styles. I bet it must of been a group project.
Recognized a few artistic styles through this, but my absolutely favorite part of it was how the music actually reflected the character, while retaining the overall style and tempo. A really impressive medley that shows that ZUN actually has a lot of potential for generating several stylized pieces of music that can be related to each other.

I always come back to this animation every so often. It’s an excellent way to remind oneself of the reason I joined this fandom. The number of different animation styles in a single video just shows the amount of creativity people put into this series.

Love the match Marisa vs Nitori and the part where Reisen dodge the missiles.
Whoever did the animations for the action segments (namely Nitori and Reisen) - props to them! It was so satisfying to watch. I hope to find out who they were so I could give them a follow
Also, the music is just top notch
Touhou is the greatest series. Period.
I love how Youmu and Reisen both get a rare chance to do something totally badass. Even if Reisen slips up at the end.
If you can recognize them, thats childs play. But be able to recollect and name each stage and which games these hail from. That truly is being a fan.
Kanako's in a swimsuit because its from the same animator of the Touhou EWI animation videos, the touhou characters that play there themes are in swimsuits because the animator didn't know how to draw dresses properly, s/he does know but continues to draw them in swimsuits as a gag/joke

I could only spot one animator I really recognized... when Kanako popped up and tore her clothes off to reveal the swimsuit. That's the guy who makes all the EWI Touhou flashes.

I think this has already been said a couple of time earlier on, but for anyone that's curious, the background song for the entire video is called "Kids Festival ~ Innocent Treasures", from the music album Changeability of Strange Dream.
FYI:
The music is a mix of various touhou songs w/ the main melody being Innocent Treasures, which is considered as ZUN's theme b/c it is played at Dawn of Touhou (ZUN's lecture at Meiji University) when ZUN enters the stage. This song is very special in the sense that it summarizes ZUN's life view. Look it up and read the lyrics to see what I mean.
Thumbs up if you feel more people should know this.

Thank you so much for linking to that video. I always loved this song and have sang its Japanese lyrics but despaired why no group did vocals for it so I could be sure of timing and such, but the Miku rendition is wonderful.

And the fact that I know only Genji, Sariel, Orange, Yuuka, Little Alice, Shinki, The strawberry crisis theme, and Mima, I couldn't even identify the PC-98 characters much less recognise theme + stage + game.
I kept on trying to name every single theme song that started playing with every single character that came up.

I just wanna add that if you read this song's story from Changeability of Strange Dream, which is the music album this song is from, it becomes clearer that ZUN expressed why he wanted to create Gensokyo. I also highly recommend all the stories ZUN wrote for his five music albums and the Dawn of Touhou interview, together they tell you a lot about ZUN's life view. Any touhou fan can't miss them.
There is a refrence to that. Theirs a lot of touhou vids on youtube of chibi touhous in those swim suits playing their themes on a little flute.
For those asking, the Main Theme is Kid's Festival ~ Innocent Treasures.
That is a track from one of ZUN's CDs, Changeability of Strange Dream. It is also said to be ZUN's own theme.

For all those real Touhou fans out there, Maribel-san's theme is mixed in with the entire thing. Maybe this is what she sees when she tries to recall everything.
