I watched a channel where a woman refurbished vintage sheepskin bags that were in good condition. She dampened a soft cloth with leather cleaner, then leather lotion, and blotted it dry. She says you can use a high-quality black leather polish on the worn corners of a black bag. Alternatively, you can have your bag sent for a "spa" by a reputable restorer. It comes out like new.
