I’ve had my locs for 10 years and so many of the things you said related to my hair as well! I was cracking up because YES the struggle is real when your locs start getting long😂
Wow you're the first person I've seen with what's looks like my hair type and lock size 😲🤗 I absolutely love my curly kinks too after washing. Unfortunately I've had to combine a few around the edges front and back - slight thinning! I used to swim alot so leakage through my hats didn't help 🤦🏾♀️.... GREAT STYLE 👌🏽 THANKS FOR POSTING 🙏🏾
Okay, I've been trying for YEARS to figure out how to get this technique correctly, seen vids in the past and they were so unsuccessful I gave up. I'm only a few mins in and decided to yry this one before going any further and it worked! Thank God I found this video! Thank you so much for explaining it so I could understand. I really appreciate it 🙏🏾
Girl, two uploads a few minutes apart? You are on a roll! We are in for a real treat !! Can't wait for my locs to mature and grow so I can copy some of your great styles.
@@lulslime1066 She never said she didn't have locs. She said she wants them to grow. Anyway people with or without locs can watch whatever TF they want. Who are you??? The comment section cop???
This video was so helpful for me. I am in my journey a little over a year. I also started my own locs and alot of feedback made me feel like I messed up by doing them the same size as yours. now I feel so much better. lol. I will be doing this style today.
👍🏽it's nice it looks good your grooven & thanks for sharing your journey w/ us I've been locked for going on 7 year's & the growth has been real so I'm just as passionate about my own experience & keep on growing em'

I think that as long as you can get them into a bun that is within standards, you’ll be good. Hopefully they’re not too long because the longer the locs are, the bigger the bun.
I’ve used perm rods on the ends once and it was cute but a lot of extra work. I’ve also styled them with small gold clips on the end but I don’t do it often because I can’t have any accessories in my hair while in uniform.
Do you have a website for your hair product? I have Locs for 4 & 1/2 years now & recently wanted to begin doing the 2 strand twist on them to give my Locs more texture after I untwist my Locs 2-3 weeks later. Blessing’s, Sasha Rene’e Also Regarding the rubber bands at the end I take my rubber bands off around a week & 1/2 later Still leaving the 2 strand twist in 2 weeks thereafter.
Wow they are absolutely beautiful, just like you. I have been natural for almost 6 years now. About to begin my loc journey and came across your channel. I will watch a few more. 🙏🏼🙏🏽
Hi, question I normally interlock my locs been for 4 years now interlock. I did a retwist this last time to do the two strand twist. Will it be ok to got back to interlock my next session for up keeping?
I’d say yes, based on my experience. I’ve always interlocked except to do the same thing- two strand twist. I haven’t had any issues. We’ve been locked for about the same amount of time.
Have you ever counted your locs or know how many you have? I have medium density hair and I'm trying to figure out the size of my locs so that my hair doesn't look thin and I want a full/natural look similar to yours.
Hey Girlfriend..... I don't believe its been 8 months that I have been on my loc journey... I am having so many conflicting feelings and thoughts about my hair... for one.. I can't say it enough, my locs have made me feel SOoooo lazy about my hair.... to wash it, I don't think I do a good job, I only end up interlocing because I don't like the feel of the new growth.... Its weird because of interlocing I have been able to "keep my length" and my hair is growing like crazy... so it looks great on the surface.. but I haven't attempted to style my hair at all and that makes me feel guilty because I feel so lazy... I don't know what it is... I think I am really just reaping the benefits of not having to do my hair daily as I did when I was a loose natural... its soooo crazy, I can't quite put my finger on it. I love how creative you are with your various styles.. thanks for taking the time to show and share with us!!
@@RebekahElaine ok it looks like it compared to mine. I just made it to three years and was saying I should be at the length you have in this video this time next year

Thank you 😊 I love that color in the fall.
Thank you I twisted my hair and needed to learn how to fold the ends. Thank you!!!! My hair is about 18 in long

Nice.
Very nice
Thank you 🙏🏽
Hmp. I'm go have to go ahead and do the two stands
Nice 👌
Thank you!
I got my locs styled today in two strand twists. I love it! How long do you keep your locs in the two strand twist style?
About 3-4 weeks
What do y’all think about having dreadlocks with extensions, for Navy bootcamp?
Thank you

Hey love the video, Do your hair have to be wet to do the 2 strand twist?
No, it doesn’t have to be but it seems to look neater when it’s done on soft wet hair.
Queen beautiful
Thank you so much 🥰

if u keep them in for a month or longer do they loc like that ? because i have locs too about the same length
Potentially for some. My hair takes a really long time to loc so for me it wouldn’t lol like this until after a year or so.

do I need to part it down the middle? I'm 18 learning to do my hair and I've realized my momma put one in the middle of my doggone forehead😂
lol! It’s ok. My parts aren’t all even. You just have to pick a loc beside it and twist them together
Fine job ..find a leave in conditioner
No worries just continue to take care the entire loc especially the ends🎉❤
Thanks
Do you sit under the dryer at all?
Every once in a while. But I prefer not to
