A Song of Praise Music Festival or ASOP is the only praise songwriting festival on Philippine television of its kind.
As one of the advocacies of UNTV’s Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon and International Filipino-Televangelist Bro. Eliseo Soriano, A Song of Praise Music Festival aims to bring back gospel music in the lives of many people and support Original Filipino Music (OPM).

Fast fact: Faith Cuneta, the interpreter of the Alex "Hands of Steel" De Guzman-composed "Sa Iyo Aking Ama", was the perpetrator of the ASOP Music Festival People's Choice Award Manipulation controversy at the inaugural ASOP Music Festival Grand Finals Night, the most controversial ASOP Music Festival Grand Finals Night in it's infancy, which led to the latter's exclusion at the 2013 ASOP Music Festival Grand Finals Night, the absolute worst ASOP Music Festival Grand Finals Night of all time. The rules of the A Song Of Praise Music Festival stated that there would be no protest among the losing entries
