Love the updates. After 7 months Investing on average $2.50 a day into SCHD I have 5.92 shares up 4.22%. On average $2.50 a day in VOO I have 0.83 shares and up 9%. Thanks for the updates as they taught me the power of dollar cost averaging early in my Investing adventure. I have a few other ETFS I put $1 a day into and they are up 2-3% also. Thanks Bob

This is by far my favorite series you do! I invest mostly in Schwab but started doing daily buys in Robinhood after seeing one of your vids! I’ve been doing $25 a day into 5 ETFs… I’m in share accumulation mode since I have a long time horizon 😊
I started micro investing about 2 months ago. I didn’t do $5/day but rather used an app that uses round ups along with a $50/fortnight contribution. That was the only way I could get fractional etfs. It’s been great to see it grow. With a few ad hoc contributions, by next week I’ll have my first $1000 invested.

I was hoping you'd show in your chart another trend line that included the actual balance with dividends to show that potential as well. That might be helpful for people as well.

LOL always drives me crazy when people say if you invested 500 a day or 10K in this or that you'd have XXXXXXX money. so thnx for this showing that sticking with it over time will make us money slow but sure. appreciate you!!!!

Same here! Today it's up 20.95% (5/7/24). The thing is though, I'm also happy with 10% as an overall average. Maybe this year we get a 20% return, but in future years we may have a down year where it drops quite a bit. But then the average out of 10% is the key for long-term wealth.

I’m up 9.74% total. Started the challenge in late 23 though. I bought NVDA in feb last year… should have done the challenge with them haha, I’m up 64% with the one purchase I did last year xD.
While I wish the brokerage I used allowed for fraction share purchases. I do try to put in at least $200-$400 a week but depending on what I want to invest in try to budget accordingly so I can buy full shares of the more “expensive” stocks.

Hey Bob, I was wondering if you could help me understand why I can't invest in ETFs or funds on Robinhood? It's a new account and I'm based in the UK. It states that Robinhood doesn't trade this stock, for every ETF on their app. I'm really confused.
are transaction fees taken into account when the data was being analysed here? Because I seem to be losing money if I were to make the transaction everyday

With stocks, people have to remember that even if the price is down on your stock, you haven't lost anything until you sell.

I started a challenge on January 25th to put a 100$ every paycheck in an ETF on stash app I wanna live off dividends eventually!
I started at $5 a day last year with Acorns, now I'm up to $12 a day, and will increase that as often as possible.

You should be doing this in a Roth, you're paying taxes twice.
I definitely recommend the Roth to start off! Mine is maxed out each year so I’m stuck with this option 😄
