I know, right? Really no point. It's almost up there with Crescent Ax in terms of awfulness and the only thing keeping it from being worse is the fact Crescent Ax saps energy. I believe Soul Edge is as stated in terms of power in Edge Master Mode. Outside of it though, I don't think it's much if any better than other characters' standard weapons. You do Edge Master Mode for the unlocks though Serpent's Tongue is definitely better when you have to face Soul Edge himself.
