That phone mount looks a lot like my bullet point mount I got on my 19 big horn lone star mega cab 3500 ho Cummins with Aisin transmission.
I bought a 2020 ram 2500 night edition fully loaded about 3 months ago. Let just say this truck has everything and full luxury . Best sound system out of any vehicle and just love driving being my first diesel . But it has been in the shop for 2 of the 3 months due to having to replace the transmission. Went in since the check engine light P0740 came on so I figured should be something basic but NO. They are replacing the whole transmission and apparently they are back ordered. They are taking care of me from both the dealer and FCA but this was a 80k truck that I plan on keeping for a few hundred K . I don't want to delete or modify and lose my 100K warranty but after some research all I keep thinking about is the damn cp4 pump. Im not worried about the trans as I know the dealer will take care of that but this cp4 pump can be a disaster . I just hope its not as bad as the forums make it out to be. It seems all the people talking about it but not many have had it happen. anyway just a little vent for the day. Great video man!

Your lucky I bought my tradesman last year and the transmission gave me problems at 300 miles! They won't honor it either
They are doing a current recall on the pump. Call your local dealer. I got mine done at the beginning of July. CP3 2020 RAM 3500
I just had my CP4 pump changed on my 2020 Ram about a year ago. They did the recall. Seems to be working fine. The CP4 was loud. The new CP3 is quieter.

Great stuff brother...!! Enjoy your content sir. I'm been holding back on tuning my 5th Gen due to the vulnerable CP4 pump setup, even though mine has the latest updated CP4 version. But that EZ Link definitely looks EZ 😁. I noticed you truck has/had a left front TPM sensor warning just as mine does. Mine popped up suddenly, thought I had a flat but tire is full. Guess it will make its first trip to the dealer. 😒

I have never dealt with a delete ram and warranty but I have experience with other manufacturers and tunes I’ve done. They will do anything they can to blame the tune/aftermarket work. Anything to get out of doing free warranty work.
How come nobody says anything about how low the ex link hangs down out of your obd port you can hardly get in and out of the truck without booting it 😢

I haven't done a delete yet becuase my 2019 cummins still has warranty. I schedule a cp3 conversion per recall at dealer this wk and i got a feeling they well reflash pcm to newest tune and I've been hearing it locks out any future tuning. Is this tuner still able to tune newest oem reflash?

For the 2020 Cummins the wed site only says 2019 and I know the enigine had revisions for 2020
I would email them. They will need your VIN to confirm your trucks information.
2019 and 2020 are the exact same engine! No difference. Except the cp4.2 revision halfway through
Quick question, my 2020 Laramie came with something already plugged into the ORBD port. I don’t know what that is hooked up to?? What do I do if I decide to go with the EZ Lynk? Sorry I’m new to this diesel running stuff.😂

If you unplug the EZLynk for other OB2 you just lose gauges and monitoring / data log on your phone correct? Tune should be present

You’ll have to check w/ whoever tunes your truck. All tuners have different options.

Hey, i was wondering if you have ever had any lost communication codes pop up on you? cause ive been having them pop up and ez lynk support hasnt been much help
One time, but then I got a notice for a firmware update. I updated & no more issues since.

@@BEASTProjects dpf/egr problems in the future. These emission tunes are wayyyy harder on the dpf/egr filters. Since this video is older, hows the truck running? How much more do you regen and how much more def do you use? You will definitely burn way more fuel
