Perryshmirtz feat. Lyla and Vanessa - I Hate You, I Love You

The song portrays the complicated love-hate relationship of Perry and Heinz.
In the beginning they both watch the same soap opera which sums up their nemesis-ship, a fact Heinz is oblivious to.
Over the summer Perry quickly got attatched to Heinz and grew slightly jealous wen he was Heinz' wingman for his online dates.
When Heinz finally starts to figure out his own feelings he is too cautious to risk their friendship, having had too many failed relationships before, convinced that it was his fault every time.
Despite his stoick exterior, Perry wonders how life could be if he truely was part of the Doofenshmirtz family. Vanessa already sees him as a second father figure anyway.
The line "I learned from my dad that it's good to have feelings" is adverted because the abuse in his childhood taught Heinz to be the best father to Vanessa he can be.
When Perry is trapped backstage, Heinz confronts him, convinced that Perry has feelings for his agency partner Lyla. Perry is angry about the accusation, considering the many times he had to watch Heinz try and fail to date other women while keeping on a straight face.
In the end, Perry clears up the emotional mess: Lyla does like him, but is too persistant to accept that he is not interested in her. The only woman where Perry and Heinz see eye to eye is Vanessa: she and Norm are there when Perry is officially welcomed in the Doofenshmirtz family with everyone having dinner together.
P.S.: I love the headcanon in fanfictions that Heinz and Perry meet up off the clock after the daily thwarting to watch soaps together since they have both been shown to like watching telenovelas in the canon series.

Oh it started so sad! Their story is basincly about killing each other's hearts several times, just to notice that they share love! I'm glad it had a happy ending!
The edit is great, it fits the lyrics and moved my emotions. Mostly the hug scene
