Crazy Audi RS5 w/Capristo Ride - Tunnel Blast, Brutal Accelerations and Downshifts!

- Over the weekend I was able to jump onboard an Audi RS5 fitted with an insane Capristo exhaust system for a blast around the area of Knightsbridge, London. Cameras can never demonstrate how these cars actually sound, but I'm sure you get the idea. It is very loud!

***** The test drive is on November 6th, which is also the same week that I plan on installing the modifications for my current Mercedes. I have all the parts: Adv.1 wheels, carbon fiber mirrors and spoiler, lowering kit, and matte wrap to black out the matte grill at the front. I may also smoke the taillights but it looks like they are slightly smoked from the factory. I’m buying my next car in late 2016, and if the newer generation M6 is not out by that time period then I will get the F - Type SVR or the C7 Z06(Z06 is very low on my next car budget, so I'll just buy another car if I do get it). Don’t know when the AMG-GT3 edition is coming out but frankly I don’t care either, not waiting for some special edition AMG- GTS that will take a few millennia to be revealed. I also low-balled the price on my current car heavily (by about 40k) but it was actually one of the best decisions I’ve made(Invested it and to say it's going well is an understatement), as I will be getting my next car earlier and able to afford an even pricier one than what I projected before. Eitherway, this car is fine and I don’t care too much about cars anyway anymore, I’m not some little child. I find my current car fast enough with 415HP, it gets the job done.

First video of the Capristo exhaust that actually captured my interest. Perhaps the drivers in all the other RS5 Capristo videos are red-lining it all the time and just makes the exhaust note too shrill for my liking. But here, the lower rev range parts of the video makes all the difference and the exhaust system really shines in it's crispness and clarity. Awesome!

Yes and no. I think it would be so cool to row the gears yourself but also this is a very quick revving engine so the dct suits it
I don't think a manual would have such aggressive downshift sounds. Besides, the DCT is one of the best features of this car according to every review I've seen.
James Aron however other reviewers complain because the previous rs4 had a high revving V8 but still had a manual
@@the-boring-car-guy - yeah, I can see the critique about there being no manual option for this and other sports cars. I don't know about the previous RS4 but that's a very different car. Problem is, German manufacturers are offering a manual trans option less and less; it's being phased out gradually.
I drove manual cars for nearly 20 years. The B8 RS5 performs exceptionally well with the DCT and I wouldn't want anything else for thIs car despite having driven so many miles with a manual. I do miss it to _some_ extent, admittedly.

Driving it around the streets of London is a bit pointless. You'll never be able to get up enough speed to hear her really scream, so you're just restricted to low-level loudness and the punishing downshift noise. which isn't bad but the video needed variation.
