It's so interesting i came across this video today. Rather randomly. My mother passed away on this date one year ago. She died of lung diseases. She was in hospice at the hospital. They gave her morphine to ease her anxiety and help her breathing. My husband and I were with her in her last moments. May she have had a good rebirth!
I have some news for you, good news. The Eternal Mind has nothing to do with brain activity. Real thought doesn't come from the brain. Eternal thought isn't touched by medication it remains in a state of clarity forever. Oh, should have listened until the end. I forgive myself. Good job Mr Buddhist man. :) Much Love Darling !!!
Thank you for the beautiful talk, please keep reminding people about the last thoughts because as a human we tend to easily to forget From what I heard in many Monks said is you can not become a Monk period not a Monk if yo are LGBTQ period but B Buddhist , it might be misspoken
In lay life you can be whatever you are/want/identify with. As far as I know Hindi and Buddhist teachings say nothing negative in regards to sexual identity, who one chooses to be with, rather the focus is on intention. If you are to become a monk, sex is not something that you would be concerned with in any manor with anyone straight/gay/bi or otherwise, so it does not matter what you were during your lay life, should you decide to follow the path of a monk, sexual preference would no longer be relevant.
Other humans re not designed to consistently give us happiness. We all have free will to do what we please. Even if you were happy in love with someone.....it's not sustainable long term unless you share a value system (i.e. your will is in generally similar direction). Don't make your happiness dependent on others. Relationships are there for us to play with one another. But we essentially must be able to go our own way. Otherwise, we are not sovereign. Like children without a mommy....no self-deternination.
