After i beat KCD 1 and put over 100 hours into it - I sent warhorse a long email about how great their game was. The addition of her healing Henry with a Lethean potion is a brilliant move for those who know. Our Henry is a bit of a "reset" of our previous Henry, and the Lethean potion "Drink one mouthful and you'll forget all earthly experience." I think that was a perfect thing to add for this.
As a brazilian i really like forests and the country side, Europe forests are atmospheric,was a joy exploring the countryside way back in KCD1 and looks like KCD2 have even better forests and nature, will be a joy explore Bohemian nature again in february,now with even brazilian portuguese subtitles as well
Yea the landscape was just amazing, huge part of why I enjoyed KCD1 so much. Rewarding exploration even more like they talked about sounds awesome in that context too.
as a Czech guy, they nailed the forrest in Bohemia really well, it´s really like walking in our nature....the whole countryside in the game is quite authentic

Here in Finland our forests are largely spruce and pine forests but when I’m exploring Bohemia in KCD I can tell that it is very close to the real enviroment, it feels natural. There are also some pine forests in KCD1 that really felt familiar to a finn and were the most realistic pine forests I’ve ever seen in a game. The orange/brown trunks and how the canopy of a pine forest lets in more light to the forest floor. Just beautiful.
This company will always have my full support…KCD1 reignited my love for RPG’s and now we have the sequel…Amazing team, Amazing Game and the passion they have is the most ferocious I’ve seen in years…much love from Wales Warhorse ❤️🏴
KCD2 is officially my first preordered game ever! KCD1 rekindled my love of gaming and I can't wait to explore Bohemia again. Huge thanks and respect to Dan Vavra and the Warhorse team for sharing this story with all of us. They put the quality of the game and the story above all else and that's extremely rare these days. This looks incredible!!!! I’m so glad we’re are finally having games that are both believable, historically authentic and also feature rich. I love that there’s another game that properly adds in many of the best features of games like Skyrim. Even the small and often overlooked details look incredible. Much needed in a world of bland open worlds where the player cannot interact with anything.
I've been replaying the game ahead of part 2 and I keep thinking how come KCD didn't get more recognition. The game is simply incredible and I cannot wait to continue the adventure.
Lack of marketing and the fact the company was a new company where funding came from kickstarter. The game was a huge success selling millions of copies, the second one will do even better
The game being a kickstarter project and having the game's launch full of bugs and optimization issues definitely didn't increase the game's reputation. You can kind of compare it to Cyberpunk 2077's launch but a bit better. It took Warhorse a couple of years before the game was mostly fixed and optimized, still they managed to pull through and sell so many copies because the game IS very good, just had a really bad launch, just like Cyberpunk which sold around 30 million copies.
Sadly my 2nd playthrough came to an end earlier than expected. The infinite loading screen bug of Cold Steel Hot Blood is still alive and well and I'm on console so no Mod can help. Tried reloading earlier saves, restarting the console, nothing... Kinda reminded me to temper my expectations.
One of the very few games I have been willing to pay the full price and in advance :) . So glad to support these devs at least with my bit, looking forward to release! I wish there was some KCD III sometime in the future :D .

well i pre bought this as soon as it was offered as i did 1.. and seeing how exited these guys are and proud of what they have done i feel very confident and must now wait. their excitement just makes me more impatient to get it now. its truly a great and special extremely different from other games. get that optimization done and let the calender roll... thanks guys

Speaking as someone who works in the countryside and environmental stuff, you have really got a lot of details in the different habitats and seems you have done your research even in habitat types and what will grow/be there. From a game that’s truly magnificent attention to detail, you see games do it and it feels good sometimes but this is really really good. You make it feel like an untouched wilderness which is superb!

I am SO hyped about the new and improved UI. One of my biggest issues with KCD1 (still my favorite game of all time, though) was that I felt like I spent about as much time scrolling through my inventory as I spent actually playing the game. Having preset outfits, quick-changing equipment, and organized items is quite a literal game changer.
In this terrible time in the gaming world you are an incredible blessing. KCD was a frustrating and unplayable game for me at first but I gave it another chance and it became my favorite game ever. I'm incredibly looking forward to KCD 2 😊
The reason warhorse chose the crytek engine was because how beautiful it can make wilderness look, and it was one of my favourite parts of KCD 1, I'm glad I got to finally see the forest in KCD 2

I am a huge history buff and always wanted a realistic medieval rpg so when KCD came out i put 600+ hours into it over the year's. It is still one of my favourite games even today. I cannot wait for KCD2 forget any other game coming out in February they do not matter! Only KCD!

The first 25min gameplay reveal looked more like a KCD 1.5 to me which was fine but these longer streams really make this look like a big step from the first game. I absolutely love the details. I just hope it'll run smoothly on Ps5 on day one.

Took me 145 hours. It become my favourite game along with Witcher 3, DA:O and Cyberpunk.

Forests were done Grade A in KCD. Felt totally like the forest around my town. Really excited after first clips from KCDII

It will since they are now using Cryengine 5 or higher.
Cryengine 3.3 was an engine that was free of royalties but also bug ridden.

I finished the game already and I've 215.6 hours on my clock. And I didn't even finish a lot of the sidequests... Have fun playing KCD.

I'm really looking forward to the release of Kingdom Come Deliverance II. I've played Kingdom Come Deliverance I with all the DLC and I admit that for me as a history lover it's an amazing experience.

Darn, I thought it would be out before the end of the year. Waiting for it anxiously. The gameplay AND story are top notch, a rare mix. KCD 1 was close to a masterpiece if the story was complete. thank you KCD team for such a unique and beautiful game.
