I love how they always include Ward in every episode so he is never forgotten. That shows how much they all truly loved & respected him as part of that family. He is dearly missed & cherished.
Would be great on DVD but it has never happened for 35 years. Legal quagmire, destroyed Master tapes, and declining market for DVDs mean it won't happen soon, if ever. The series hasn't even been shown on TV reruns for 25 years. So, that's why I am posting all 100-plus episodes here from my old Betamax recordings (20 episodes done so far). Hope you at least enjoy these instead of nothing after all these decades.
If the pearls were for their 25th anniversary, but she wore them all thru the original series, she must have had more than one strand. I couldn't watch when that necklace broke and got rolled over with the cement truck. 😭
I got to meet you a long time ago you were in San Francisco Jerry add to meet you a long time ago my dad and I stood in line and I got you autograph a long time ago I was a little girl me and my dad always got a kick out washing leave it to Beaver and your new show your show was wonderful my dad and I always watched your shows ♥️♥️
I'm only half way through watching this series, but so far the Cleaver kids have racked up quite a tally in destroyed goods: Kelly: June's pearls Oliver: Eddie's house under construction demolished Kip: Putting diesel in Lumpy's Mercedes gasoline engine (that was an honest mistake though) Kip: Totaling Wally's T-Bird
Wonderful episode that definitely captures the charm of the original series along with many other episodes from season one. The writers and the actors are to be commended. This is also a rare episode in which Ken Osmond does not make an appearance. All that said, Peggy (Kelly's friend) seems to be ever bit the rat that Gilbert and Whitey were (always daring Beaver to do something he shouldn't and being no where around when Beaver had to face the music). I think she was the same one that pressured Kelly into letting Oliver's bird out of his cage later on.
Well thank goodness those pearls weren't actually fakes. For a minute there I lost a little respect for June. She made such a big deal of loaning them to Mary Ellen, if they had been fake it would have been kind of a cheap compliment to Wally's wife.
I think June said all that just to make Kelly feel better as she was very sad enough and sold her beautiful bike just to get something for her Grandma. Something almost tells me that Barbara Billingsly got buried wearing those pearls.
Wasn't a scar -- it was what she called a "hollow" area in her neck/throat that looked like a hole when lights on her created shadows in that area, so she decided to wear necklaces to cover it up
@@shettrick Tysm 🙏🏻dang YT creator’s putting out stories about her life ect…saying it’s a scar from surgery. I really appreciate theses shows & your response🙏🏻

They all lived good lives after the show...
People that groaned about Full.House and Punky Brewster getting revivials... I point out Leave it to Beaver proved you could do one effectively
Along with Fuller House, Hawaii 5-O lasted 10 years on CBS before riding off.
I had to replay that part with Wally in bed a few times. 😉❤️
Tayler: Damn!
That is so true
♥️♥️♥️♥️
Does anybody know if Kelly ever got her bike back, or Wally got her a new bike?
Did you know the reason she wore pearls & necklace every episode was due to a scar. Became the style for housewife’s of middle class Americans.

June was still a hot mama and grandma
how did Jerry get the nick name, The Beaver?
In final episode of the series it's said that Wally couldn't pronounce Theodore properly and it came out sounding like Beaver
Could be worse. He could be THE GOPHER.
He gathered branches with his teeth, dammed up the local river with them every spring.
