Right about the time he did this interview I went for a bike ride and when passing KBIL I saw a gentleman waxing a SAIA Marchetti 1019. At the time I was flying a BH407 for Air Methods. I stopped to admire that rare aircraft and we had a nice conversation centered around aviation. Looking at my watch I realized I needed to go. I stuck out my hand and said something like “Tom…pleasure to meet you but I have to go.” He replied “Frank…nice to meet you.” I found out about 10 years later I had shaken the hand of one of my of my childhood heroes and did not know it. He never mentioned who he really was. Humility and heroism seem to run together. Fair winds and following seas good sir.
I agree in principle; although there are very bad people who can be humble about their crimes, and very honest as well. But I see what you're saying, I agree.
Wow. Brilliant interview. What a pleasure to see and hear Commander Borman. I really hope other space enthusiast stumble into watching this. Thank you.
In December 2018, EAA had an event in Osh Kosh for the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8 that Frank Borman attended. He closed the night by reading the passage from Genesis again. It was a pretty incredible event to attend.
His decision led to the development of great thingreat thanks, and he has but for him to make that decision at that time I appreciate I love this guy and I met him once, but I as a kid I knew who he Is and what the work it Took
From my understanding that was door design number 2 that was involved in the fire. I believe the first one was replaced after it exploded accidentally in the ocean. Gus nearly drowned on live television when his suit started taking on water. The amount of balls these men have amazes me.

Weirdly enough, the crew of Apollo 8 was the only crew in the entire early space program who didn't get divorced.
Good night, Colonel Borman. We love you.
Love this interview. Different questions than what he normally gets

Classic Borman.
Humility and honesty is the number one thing that will make us what God gave us again

I'll never forget when they read Genesis as they orbited the Moon it was one of the most moving things I've ever experienced God bless those men

Mentioned “Eastern” just once. “When I ran Eastern…”

What an arrogant imperialist he was.
Thank God
Damn right.
Please learn how interview a guest. Or study the subjects history a bit more. Borman seems a bit annoyed with your questions..
Borman’s an arrogant, narcissistic, personality.
