- I recently got my first League Cup win with Goodra! This is the list I played for the event. Please let me know if you have any questions about the deck or if there's anything you'd like to see from me in the future!

Thanks for the shout out to my son Yohann! We debated on the Ace Spec to use, Catcher, Cape or Belt. We went for the Catcher since we only had 2 gusts and it also adds a Switch. Cape can be vacuumed. The belt is really just for Iron Hands or Chien Pao. Usually, you'll be late on these decks with prize cards, so we decided the Prime catcher with Defiance band was better.
Absolutely! I was so happy to see him win EU with the list and wanted to play it myself! Prime Catcher is definitely a good pick for gust reasons like you mentioned. I agree cape isn't as useful since your opponent can play around it. I like belt since it helps fix math on a lot of matchups. I probably would have played the catcher if I had access to one though
Gave a like, I play Goodra as well. Would like to see some more content on the deck was considering getting a Maximum Belt myself. Ever think about making a video of some gameplay? Even some PTCGL would give your viewers better insight on really solidifying Goodra as a solid contender, not enough updated deck list gameplay videos.. can anyone say views and subscribers? 🤔
Thank you! I've wanted to show some gameplay of the deck, but I just haven't found the right amount of time and groove to make any videos on it, unfortunately. I'll definitely try to get some in the pipeline though!
@@GoodraFTW Right on man you can do it practice makes perfect my record on PTCGL is fat from great played close to 90 games so far won over 50 of them lost about 30 each loss is a learning lesson that leads to countless more wins
@@GoodraFTW I think it is important to include losses and misplays going in depth as to why those plays were made and what could have done better will help people understand their own misplays and prevent them from making the same ones themselves
Nice deck, lost zone Goodra is the first deck I was capable to get but I just keep losing and losing :( I would like to see you playing this deck so I can learn, or maybe I just suck at this game.
Thank you! Lost Zone decks can be tricky to play a lot of times. You're always having to make decisions so early on in the game that can really hurt you near the end of the game. I'd like to play some TCG Live at some point for content so go check out my Twitch for some potential streams in the future. Some of it might end up on here too! :)
