I only watched the show a few times but I'm sad it wasn't renewed for another season. The writers did a great job in writing for them and helping to mold these two lovely young ladies. Of course the weight of portraying a convincing young gay couple is all up to their great acting abilities. I really felt like I was watching a true young gay couple fall in love and the tribulations they faced. Great job ladies ❤
I loved her character early on but became less as time went on, i still loved her character at the show's end, just not like at the beginning, she was not my favourite character at the beginning or at any point, that place is reserved for the amazing Abuelita, but i loved her character very much at the beginning because she did stand for a lot of the things i believe in regarding peoples rights and general equality. Then later on, i did feel her character became a bit too judgemental and a bit man-hating later on, an example is she stood against being stereotyped which is amazing, be it women stereotypes, cultural or race or others, but yet would easily generalise what a particular man or particular men did with the word "men" or "guys", which is itself stereotyping what that particular man did as what all men do.
