First one is akki (rice) rotti from Karnataka. We generally dont add tomatoes.. instead, add onions, dil leaves & any of the vegetables which are crispy & gratable. We make raagi rotti also in the same way. Instead of rice flour, we can also use raagi /jowar /bajra or any local grain flour.
