Easy Reliable Fat Wood Fire

How to start a fire with fatwood and a ferro rod. In this video you will see how great using fatwood is when getting a fire going.
Another successful outing in the woods, found a new spot to set up, and got the fire box lit only using fatwood and a ferro rod. (Ok, and a scraper and catch. In this case my knife and the lid of my tinder tin respectively.)
Lunch came out pretty near perfect. A BLT is so simple to make and tastes awesome. A solid camp meal. The sandwich is definitely going to be added to my list of repeat meals for future campouts.

Fat wood is the best for wet or hard to get going bush work great. Worth haven a few pieces with ya in the woods.
