    The backbone of Dirty Loops...From such a genius he seems very humble.

      I met him in person on a private party and he has to be one of the humblest guys on the planet. Really such a person!

      That said, their bass player and drummer are just as mind-blowing, they really work so well together

    that fact this guy isn't world famous shows you the music business is dead - 30 years ago this guy would've been a megastar.

    Superb honesty from a superb Musician..and who's not afraid of playing after Jordan Rudess? PEACE!! :)

    • @studioonetutorials
      @studioonetutorials 9 лет назад +7

      Jordan R. usually doesn't play music (anymore?), he only plays fast phrases and licks. So no fear when playing after him...

    • @manuelergcruz
      @manuelergcruz 9 лет назад +1

      jazzundso I totally dig Jordan Rudess' music, so for me, he's as musical as Jonah Nilsson, Cory Henry, Hiromi Uehara up to the level of of Keith Emerson, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Rick Wakeman..etc..and other Jazz and/or Rock Giants out there. But I got your point Mate, I watched your videos and you're a great Musician as well, so there's no more room for fear with respect to your skills. It might just be that you're in a different league or Jordan's choice of Music is not your cup of tea. Peace!! :)

    • @Shyuum
      @Shyuum 9 лет назад +2

      Nope, Jordan would never be as top level as straight ahead Jazz pianist, he only plays licks unfortunately.

    • @manuelergcruz
      @manuelergcruz 9 лет назад +2

      I agree with your statement 'coz he's a Prog Rock Keyboardist and not a Straight Ahead Jazz Pianist, but I respect him a lot as much as I respect those Jazz Fusion Giants that I mentioned previously.

    • @Shyuum
      @Shyuum 9 лет назад +1

      Well yes, I understand what you're saying, I'm only replying to your comment, surely there is a different level of pianist who would not be afraid of his playing, Dave Kikoski being one of them.

    Vad heter låten på 05:05 ? Hittar ingen låt med namnet Sailing någonstans..

      +Sofie Aronson Jag tror inte det är en låt, utan han improviserade några ackord utefter keyboard-effekten som heter Sailing, om jag förstod det någorlunda rätt. Dock ett jäkla härligt sound som hade kunnat bli en himla bra låt :D

    Sorry dude, this is about the Kronos - not you.
    More playing - less you

      The point of getting famous (kinda of) people in to demo the Kronos, is to hear THEIR experience of using it. Everyone can do basic demo, showing features etc..

      Aske Mouridsen Never heard of any of them, they are only famous in the closed world of synth players.
      I'm getting a kronos 61 next week.

      jonesgerard "they are only famous in the closed world of synth players" I know about them and I've never touched a synth. I first heard about the band in guitar forum, out of all places.
