yeah i discovered this by accident. I had three of this mtf on my ass sniping on me until i said to myself "what if i try to block their stupid missiles?"
fun fact about this game, look at the plot of Nier both Replicant and Automata then the plot of Stellar Blade, like REALLY look at them then come back and tell me about the parallels you found. I love both games but noticing some parallels let me guess the plot HOURS before it was actually revealed
@@Ver36gil True but they CALL themselves humans... and when you scan and see a fallen angel to absorb their body core, it says "Human" next to them as well which I thought was interesting...
I never once managed to block more than the first shot of the multi-shot move. It always felt like if you missed the timing of one of the shots the rest of the sequence would hit you with no recourse.
I should've caught onto that after that boss fight where you can bounce their range attacks back...then again it took me forever to realize red glow attacks are blockable...
I figured that out pretty quickly, but the reflect damage is so crap I never really bothered. Would have been cool if reflected projectiles had a damage multiplier.
I discovered that those turrets... are annoying. I can probably learn to B line strait for them with this though! Before I would carefully separate them and then dash and combo as much as I could until they died. That still did a lot of damage to me most times though.
Has everyone forgotten God of War II already? It was only the best action adventure game of all time and one of the PS2's best games. Once you had the Golden Fleece, reflecting projectiles was a core part of the gameplay. Other action games copied the parrying mechanic afterwards. This is just action games going back to the old school.
@@plaguedoctorj.c4963 I just found the movement to be slow and clunky. I didn't feel like a powerful Jedi, which is what the fantasy is supposed to be.
I noticed the similarities immediately. The double jump, air dashing, walling running panels, parkour QTE's. The heal animation is frustratingly slow just like in Fallen Order. I hope the sequel has less platforming.
Jokes aside those robots can go to hell and never come back..
Amen for that brothaa
I hate that you can't ambush them from behind
@@Kagetora- That is the worst, this also makes it harder to ambush an Old Warrior when it's walking with two of them.
@@Kagetora-if you take the higher grown like obi wan, you can get the drop on them
Oh yes I hated these things and their cheap shots.
Eve: Why won't you die?!
Turret Droid: Nano-Rockets, son!

50 hours in…wow. Those have the highest kill count on me next to gravity.
This hurts to read. Not because of disappointment. But because of relatability.
FACCCCTSSSSS 😂😂😂😂
yeah i discovered this by accident. I had three of this mtf on my ass sniping on me until i said to myself "what if i try to block their stupid missiles?"
Love the enemy design, reminds me a lot of Nier Automata.
the same lake you can find in automata desert during the photograph side quest , game is literally motivated by it i dont even know where to begin

Nier Automata clearly heavily inspired them, it's not even close to it of course but it's nice to see games follow Yoko Taro's style
Yoko Taro praised this game
Hyung-tae kim didn’t hide he took great inspiration from nier and yoko taro praised the game
Meanwhile for me it only took me 11 hours to realize I can do that to those enemies.
Homegirl is a fucking JEDI?!
What else has "humanity" become in this future setting?
Homegirl ain’t even a human.

I knew it felt a lot like Jedi Survivor but I never thought to reflect the projectiles back 😅
Yeah totally agree with the Jedi survivor feel! I said the same thing to my brother! Especially the map environments!
Ew u actually played that disney garbage? 😂

The machine gun drones in Spire 4 are so fun to parry for this reason
wait. what? you mean the turrets?? no way you can block those
never knew this was possible, almost beat the game
I figured this out by accident.
I was getting jumped by these, and the staff wielding droids and blocked at the PERFECT time.
Wow! I'm just learning this from this video. This changes things!
Jedi: *Deflects blaster bolts*
Eve: Hold My Sword...
You're not alone on this...
I discovered this watching a video and when I saw the guy playing doing that, my reaction was "WHAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAT?!"
I figured this out really early as I ran out of bullets and there was 1 enemy left out of reach so I just parried the bullets back at him till he died
I never once managed to block more than the first shot of the multi-shot move. It always felt like if you missed the timing of one of the shots the rest of the sequence would hit you with no recourse.
Finally! The day has come! Today we suffer at the hands of the droids no longer! 😀
Oh damn thanks for this!

. . . . They are? Whenever I saw red I would immediately sprint away . . . .
@@illiasaugustus2026 Yup, red is just rapid attack warning but still can be blocked/parried. Only Yellow is when you better run or dodge.
I just started the game, and this popped up.. I think you saved me many deaths
50 hours in, I didnt know this! Thank you 🙏
I always forget to parry it when it goes into that mode, it’s so random but you always get a feeling it will happen
You can always parry projectiles. It’s pretty much a staple of the newer SoulsLikes. Lies of P you can do this as well.
Damn elXD between these and those damn digging monsters that kill me the most XD
I’ve played 90 hours and just now found this out 😳
The lightsaber!
You can also aim the deflection of the bullet if there’s another enemy next to you.
Damn my guy bursted the droid
114 hours and I never knew about this 😂
It took me until the first meeting with them to know I could do it
I remember that song 😂 brings back memories
When youre fresh out of Sekiro and Rise of the Ronin
I literally discovered it on the first encounter
Well I just passed this game that would've been very useful. Had no idea thanks for the vid.
That was an achievement in some star wars game way back lol.
Welp, I’m 160 hours and just found this video fml 🤦♂️ didn’t realise you could actually deflect them
Eve the Stellar Jedi
He tried to run away 😂
Idk I figured that out when I first encountered that type of enemy, completely by accident too
On my third playthrough for platinum and had no idea. I was too focused on trying to ambush them
Lolz. Hated those robots.. Now they'll hate me. 😂
Stellar blade Looks like blade and soul
raven feels like jin seo yeon. but bns also originally by hyung tae kim so no surprise there
Think it’s the same devs.
Me my very first encounter in the junkyard
Me discovered that u can use the lightsaber to reflect the laser fired from the enemies' laser gun back to the enemies in any Star Wars games
Thats cool, I just wish we had a damn running attack or dodge attack, something besides triangle.
Me never realize you can do this and already on my new game+ 😅😂

Really? I found this on accident in the Demo… “yea bro them rocks aint shit to me” 😂😂😂
I know I parried one at some point but didn't know it made the bullet reflect feel kinda stupid
Meanwhile I didn't know until just now! That is getting tested out RIGHT NOW.
😮 this can be done? Going to practice thank u
i did this the first time i saw it had the yellow animation, thinking that those bullets should be parriable then.
Lol i learned that in that unidentified neytiva fight
OK, so I wasn't tripping that did actually happen to me lol.
You never knew you could? The first I tried to do was figure out what could and couldn’t be parried
Omg that helps so much
Funny thing is that my sekiro instincts kicked in and I was like "wait... I can't do this in this game too?!?!"
WOW. I hate those damn naytibas even in NG+ so this us helpful 😂
Alright fine I'll play a 4th time
I learned this from spamming block against their bullshit multi shot hit stun attack, you basically auto parry the last shot.
Why didn't I think of blocking.. ok, next time I play this, it'll be done..
Finished the game on hard and didnt know this was a thing lmao
As someone else said, I did it by accident, except I was trying to block the big Fuck and his staff and somehow blocked a projectile
I accidentally figured out you can parry projectiles on my 2nd Playthrough but i haven't been using it 😂

Nobody ever talks about how similar this game is to the Jedi: Fallen Order game.
