This is how practicals should be. Teachers should make us understand the things that we would do like this in the practical class rather than throwing bluffs that bounce over head & keep us in a puzzled state till the end. Thank u sir. I will stick 2 ur channel as u have simplified d learning.
That's an odd variation of the experiment. If you move the center weight W and track the periods when hanging from K1 and K2 as a function of the position of W, you have two graphs. Where these functions intersect, T1 is equal to T2. L1 + L2 is simply the distance between K1 and K2 (call that D). Then the equation for g becomes: g = (D*8*Pi^2)/(T^2) This T can be found with high precision by fitting functions to the curves and finding their intersection point. You don't actually have to adjust the setup to make T1 and T2 equal.
Experiment is very simple bt in books they make it difficult. The only purpose is least diff between t1 n t2 for max diff between L1 n L2. N u can choose any arrangement for this.
Sir What happens If we balance the centre of gravity after using the wood and metal wood Means why we balance the rode without the blocks We have to balance after oscillation So why we don't balance by using blocks earlier
You can use any way to balance this but the main task is your l1 l2 should be considerably different for for very close time t1 and t2. My video is just one way to approach this condition without confusion. You can put blocks first then approach minimum time difference and then find l1 l2. This is also okay...
Because you dont want the center of gravity to be in middle. You want the difference of l1 and l2 to be the maximum and the difference between the times t1 and t2 to be the minimum. Because its formula is most accurate in this condition only. Watch its viva voce video for full detail.
Yes. It is correct. Don,t worry. You just want to reach a situation of max l1 -l2 with mini t1 - t2 and there could me many ways to achieve that. This is one of them which i found easy to explain n understand...
To create a substantial difference between l1 and l2. For a small time diff b/w T1 and T2. For accuracy reasons. This cant be done with both wooden or metal pieces.

For this type of content needs more time and more work ...
Well done for us sir
Thank you so much 👏👏👏👏
Really helpful, to the point and good quality content, it helped a lot.
Aaj Mera Physics ka practical exam he😢😅
6hrs left for my practical😢
And I was like... kater's pendulum to rhh hi gya abhi😂
Thanks sir

Awesome explanation man
Thankyouuu very much sir 👍
Thank you sooo much sir!
very well explained
Main to ratko dekh raha hu😊
I wouldn't lie..
You're the best you explained it explicitly
Thanks dear
Nicely explained 👍
Thank you so much
Thanks for this video. I just came here out of curiosity but this was the first source I found with a good explanation of how Kater's pendulum works

Are sir gjb thanx for explaining in such a simple way.🙏🙏
Bcha liya aapne mujhe 😂
It really helped a lot now I can do this experiment efficiently

Thank you so much sir..it's really understandable
Very Good Explanation, very helpful. Thanks you very much sir dil se ❤❤🙏🙏
Sir thank you so much
Thanks for helping
Very good explanation... thank you sir...plz keep doing it for each practical so that we are not in a state of doubt
@@TaniyaSamanta-tv6gm thanks. You can also see my Graduation Physics Lectures through my app - GradXY from playstore... And my channel @GradXY2728
Thank you sir for giving us the required answer
Thankyou sir, how do I calculate the error in the final measurement thankyou
Really efficient. Thanks a lot!!!
I think , changing the weights, much better for equal time period
Both work fine. Anyhow you wan close time period T1 n T2. Any systematic protocol may work.
Thank you ❤
Thanks

Why we are putting cylinders of different material?
Because you dont want the center of gravity to be in middle. You want the difference of l1 and l2 to be the maximum and the difference between the times t1 and t2 to be the minimum. Because its formula is most accurate in this condition only. Watch its viva voce video for full detail.

At a time k1&k2 varies???
I am not getting this question. please simplify
First you vary k1 k2 but after getting T1 - T2~0.5 you will not change them.
Thank you
🤣
Good explaination

Why we take wooden cylinder why don't we take both the cylinder if metal
To create a substantial difference between l1 and l2. For a small time diff b/w T1 and T2. For accuracy reasons. This cant be done with both wooden or metal pieces.
You are awesome 👍
Thanks for appreciation
Should the mass of wooden and metal block be same??
I am asking a question please give me the answer.
No. Otherwise they would have taken both wood or metal blocks.
Thank u
Then L1 will be equal to L2 making more prob.
Nicely explained 👍
Great explanation 👍👌
Thank you 🙂
