    This is how practicals should be. Teachers should make us understand the things that we would do like this in the practical class rather than throwing bluffs that bounce over head & keep us in a puzzled state till the end.
    Thank u sir. I will stick 2 ur channel as u have simplified d learning.

    That's an odd variation of the experiment.
    If you move the center weight W and track the periods when hanging from K1 and K2 as a function of the position of W, you have two graphs. Where these functions intersect, T1 is equal to T2. L1 + L2 is simply the distance between K1 and K2 (call that D). Then the equation for g becomes:
    g = (D*8*Pi^2)/(T^2)
    This T can be found with high precision by fitting functions to the curves and finding their intersection point. You don't actually have to adjust the setup to make T1 and T2 equal.

      Experiment is very simple bt in books they make it difficult. The only purpose is least diff between t1 n t2 for max diff between L1 n L2. N u can choose any arrangement for this.

    Sir
    What happens
    If we balance the centre of gravity after using the wood and metal wood
    Means why we balance the rode without the blocks
    We have to balance after oscillation
    So why we don't balance by using blocks earlier

    • @AllLabExperiments
      @AllLabExperiments  4 года назад +1

      You can use any way to balance this but the main task is your l1 l2 should be considerably different for for very close time t1 and t2. My video is just one way to approach this condition without confusion. You can put blocks first then approach minimum time difference and then find l1 l2. This is also okay...

    Why we are putting cylinders of different material?

    • @AllLabExperiments
      @AllLabExperiments  2 года назад +2

      Because you dont want the center of gravity to be in middle. You want the difference of l1 and l2 to be the maximum and the difference between the times t1 and t2 to be the minimum. Because its formula is most accurate in this condition only. Watch its viva voce video for full detail.

      Yes. It is correct. Don,t worry. You just want to reach a situation of max l1 -l2 with mini t1 - t2 and there could me many ways to achieve that. This is one of them which i found easy to explain n understand...

      To create a substantial difference between l1 and l2. For a small time diff b/w T1 and T2. For accuracy reasons. This cant be done with both wooden or metal pieces.
