If that elevator was installed in 2000, its a 321A. Suzzex’s method of identifying these rare elevators are exposing many more 321A elevators than I thought.
The only thing he appears to have gotten incorrect is that it was introduced in May 1998, not Nov. 1997.
You can also tell by looking at the top of the frame. It does not overlap on a 321A.

Door close buttons often don't work in American Schindlers
***** Yeah you're right. But if it only works in Fire Service, why did they keep it on the main panel instead of putting the button in the fire service cabinet ? It can be damaged as people often press it a hundred times before the doors close, each time harder.
+The French Elevator Channel Same with American Otis's and American ThyssenKrupp's. At least American ThyssenKrupp's don't take forever to close. American Schindler's and American Otis's take forever to close.
