I keep coming back to this video... Somehow discovered it 4 years ago.
One of those rare short films I see at a festival that blows me away. Well done. So strong, so ruthless, so beautiful.
Ese add excuse ee
Everything in its right place.
Was Radiohead that placed me here, and didn't disappoint
Same here.
Hey did that video get deleted? the everything in its right place one?

Steins;Gate fan that listens to Radiohead? I found my people.
This is the best short film I have ever seen. 8 mins through 8 decades of life, through 8 different emotions. Absolutely brilliant! I've watched this so many times and it's still so perfect and real.
It aches me this art hasn't even been viewed at least 5 million times.
I been to 130 countries and lost the woman I loved, and I was sitting in a jail cell a few weeks ago, I watched this for the first time now, and I feel like I also saw my own life in this video in my own way, really made me think. Amazing video and very touching, also very true about the parties and girls when your young and then you get more loneliness.
Love filmmakers like Joschka who challenges to break away from traditional narrative story structure. We need more films like this.
Every time I watch this I cry non-stop. Stunning, the most real a story can get.
I hate the guy in this film because he had a life. Some people never have a real life.
I thought my heart had turned cold until I watched this.
And you'll think about
How she looked at you !
How she always looked at you ❤
Okay so I’m here from that everything in its right place fan art video so I knew it was gonna be good, but I was not prepared for it to be this good. Unbelievable.
It Gives You The Chills After Watching This!
I shed a manly tear at the end...it really touched me
Ive juat come back from watching this at Bolton Film Festival in England and this just blew me away that I had to find it to watch it again.
Simply stunning...
Oh my god! Totally blown away! My eyes were stuck through the whole film. Superbly done!
I’ve seen it more than 10 times. Shown it to more than 100 people. And each time i watch it, i have goosebumps. Absolutely. Fucking. Marvellous. ❤
to tears and deep in the soul. Thank you
Too many people chopping onions in here all of a sudden.
I know right, it suddenly got dusty in my living room lol
I just had a son and stumbled on this video and was 100% unprepared for that. Anyway, I'm going to go hug my kid now.
A-MAZING! The storytelling, the voice, the actors, light, colors, the movement, the music, sound design, the pauses...the black screen at the end...everything is so in place. It really touched me. Thank you for the art! I don't know why this doesn't have millions of views.. 💗
I just watched your short film on TV. In this context we've been living for almost a year is crazy to see us as we are in front of a mirror when we watch this.
Im from Chile, btw. Your short film was seen by many other latinos that were watching the same channel, at the same time.
I feel much better about our context after watching this.
I don't feel alone. Thanks!
One of the best shorts I've seen in my life... this is off the charts!
Thank you, pim.
This touched my soul in a way I can never describe. Amazing
So good, so real. A diamond of a short.
Even those of us that have never experienced true loss, pain, or regret are able to relate even a tiny bit to those that have, through this piece of art. Thank you, Dear!
Fourth time I've seen this film now and it's so weird that although it cleaned up at so many festivals it didn't crack that upper tier - could see this being oscar nominated.
The best short film I have ever seen.
Thank you. We are pleased that you like it.
Just wow... Very creative with a very great message. Great work! A fine piece of art.
I can't believe this isn't getting more attention. Amazing work guys! I personally relate to it a lot but I don't think that's needed to appreciate its brilliance.
Beautiful Story
I first saw this short film edited as a music video for Radiohead's Everything in it's right place and everyone should definitely check that version out, too!

it has so much meaning.. This can actually happend in a few seconds, and you can't do anything about it..
no word to described this. Thank you
I cried each time I watched it ! And it was my 4th one !
Refreshing, beautiful and depressing. Thanks
I love this, it's amazing.
Wow, it's amazing.
But let me tell you how I come to this Shortfilm.
I am a Fan of the musician "Skeez" and in one of his music videos Anna Patzer plays a role and over her website I saw that she played in this film. And now I am here.
Great acting!!!
I just found this through some other clips before, wauw this is absolutely stunning. So beautiful I shed some tears when the end credits started. Absolutely beautiful and moving, what a great short movie.
Amazing! How she looked at you. How she always looked at you. Makes me cry so hard in that sequence. I think of how my mother looked at me and how my wife does now. I can’t imagine that final moment look before death.
I’ve no words ... An amazing work !
Thank you guys !
Omg just amazing
i just saw this today and i cant explain the level of amazingness that you have given to us. its heartbreaking and beautiful
Here by chance exactly 4 years later the release when I first saw it. Still amazed.
And the darkness of it all is
We all will experience this
I am teaching myself motion graphics and animation for games and feature films and you guys are my number one source of inspiration, and for your information your 2016 reel helped me get a job in a very big agency. Thank you The Marmalade Visual engineering.
This is great! :) Keep it going!
Finally found this, having seen it with Talk Talk's "Time It's Time", which fits it perfectly.

Amazing video , one of the best i saw. I see that artist was inspired from movie the curious case of benjamin button
Wow... Incredible way to put forth the story.
I am with you guys) Thank you that during my journey I have got known you. I feel you all close to me. I am not alone here. God bless you. I love all the joy we bring to each other. Let we stay together. We always are.
Just brilliant. I wanna see the motion picture. Get to work please:)
great story telling ...
It’s damn real
It went the other way for me. I was empty for as long as I could remember. Then I wasn't anymore because I had a family and someone who made me feel as though I mattered.
That old feeling does creep back, but children chase it away. For me anyway.
Touching
Muito bom...
Whoa.
I always watch this short film again and again when I feel like a useless piece of shit or lonely and sad.
Une version française ou sous titré plz
wow
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.
For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Im crying like a lttle girl....🥲...this es a piece of art...
The name of The music at 1.25 please?

By all technical measures this is a good film. Nice cinematography and whatnot. What irks me about it is the melodramatic narration saying "This is a thing. That is a thing. This is a thing that happened to that thing." Like goddamn, I didn't know what all that was before, thanks for clarifying. Not to mention most of the characters are set up like bowling pins at a granite quarry. The writer isn't so much attempting to move us as he is gripping our heartstrings and strumming them like a banjo.
I originally saw this as a music video to a certain Radiohead song, and without the please-take-me-seriously narration and blockbuster movie trailer music, it hits much more effectively without trying half as hard.
Or maybe I'm just overly analytical of things that annoy me, yeah that's it.
This ✨
Wow ça fait réfléchir
Spanish subtitles please it's wonderful!!
Name of the sountrack please? thanks.
Hi Roua. The soundtrack is composed by GERMAN WAHNSINN.
@@TheMarmaladeChannel didn't find it anywhere
It´s custom made for this shortfilm. You can´t find itat Spotify or Deezer, if you ment that.
Bro how do you do the narriation im tryna do that but i cant figure it out
Unfortunately "Everything in its right place" music video with this movie was deleted
Subtitulada en español, dónde???
No, sorry. There are no spanish subtitles available.
Most depressing video on RUclips... But very very well done !
Still makes me emotional year after year I looked at this short film ! Does anyone know the name of the (piano) when the girl appears?
2min14
Have a nice life; thank you!
What's the last piece's name?
This Movie is too cruel, too much to take in too less time. I never saw something comparable.
Anyone know the music behind 1:40? Thanks in advance.
same here
3:20 for the the people who experience the thing that can leave you questioning everything. And why?
This video looks like a representation of Marcus Aurelius - Meditations ...
I had a similar story...i broke up and went thru a divorce.....and now despite i have so many girls i feel so alone...i have many sex...and i feel so alone...i which i could find love again....but some things just happens once in a lifetime...i guess...😢
Music in 1:42 ?
That guy as a young adult looks like David Pakman.
