- The Weldy heat gun is particularly powerful and very easy to use. This convenient heat gun can be used for countless applications, including car wrapping. The working temperature can be adjusted in five-degree increments between 80 °C and 650 °C respectively 176 °F to 1202 °F. Thanks to the digital temperature control, the set specification temperature is fixed and remains constant, regardless of the air quantity setting and the nozzle accessory used.

Hi there, very good video! but is it the normal truck tarp used on trucks? no need for any glue? just this type of heating gun can make them bond together?
yes, this is a normal truck tarp material. welding is much stronger then glueing.
I'll like to find out if this sealing system can be used on tarpaulin that holds a lot of water for fish ponds? Also, how can i get your product in Nigeria?

this is not glue, this is a welding machine. so its easy to get a waterproof seam.

The welding temperature is depending on many different factors like material type, material weight, pressure or speed and needs to be tested on each material separately.

hi Jonas, yes it works with all kind of thermoplastics like TPO
What temperature are you welding at?
This can vary depending on the material and speed. The temperature is adjustable from 80-650°C. PVC tarpaulin material, for example, can be welded between 500-650°C.

What is the best substance to clean with before welding? tarpaulin is used, and what best temperature work with heat gun welding?

If you have a new material, you don’t need to clean it. If the material is dirty you can clean it with paint thinner or petroleum spirits. The welding temperature depends on the material and the speed you are welding with, but 500°C is the maximum temperature.

Hi Sukri… few things… maybe your welder is not hot enough. Or your materials are not similar. Or they and not compatible with welding like some rubber inflatable boats. Hope this helps.
