- Hi my dear kpop stan friends!! Todays video is going to be an excerpt of my Sunday kpop spill session where I talked about my first impressions of two of the most major announcements in fashion news recently:
Blackpink Lisa for Louis Vuitton
BTS Jin for Gucci
These are two very important ambassadorships that could potentially have major implications on both the kpop and fashion industry. If you’ve already watched Sundays episode, you’ll have heard my thoughts already. And if you haven’t, you def won’t want to miss this!

FashionULT - where fashion meets kpop
Both Celine and LV are part of the LVMH group. It's worth mentioning that Celine was the company that chose Lisa as their very first GBA in their brand's history. It was a great move, and the outcome was beneficial for both of them. However, the contract with Celine was managed through YG. Now that Lisa is her own boss with her own company, aiming for a better deal is the right thing to do, especially since LV has a larger budget than Celine. I'm happy for her, and I'm also grateful that Celine gave Lisa a chance. Of course, Celine is somewhat of an indie brand, and YG was quite a mess-it could have been better. I wish Lisa could have grown together with Celine, but anyway, I wish her all the best and Celine too.

I am happy that LISA is now the house ambassador of Louis vuitton. Because this brand suits to her fashion style

I suspect the timing of Lisa moving from Celine to Louis Vuitton was arranged to clearly transition from a contract negotiated by YG to a contract negotiated by Lloud. Perhaps the delay in the announcement was to avoid any legal financial obligations being owed to YG.
I do agree and guess she plans her fashion journey well same as music .
She enjoyed such grace period in joining Kith for summer collection as she loves street wears and enjoy wearing many brands in any events, especially Loewe in the concert. It is really designed for top tier female singer.

i’m kinda becoming happy with lisa not doing celine bc they were sooo strict even with her mag appearances. but with her newest elle she got to wear so much other stuff like the erl & r13 hoodie look🙂↕️🙂↕️
i don't think that was up to Celine tho...changes are made now because she's not in YG anymore for her solo projects so she has a bit more freedom I guess...
Gucci made the right decision choosing Jin. He is such an ethereal man😍

It will be interesting to see if sales for Gucci reflect in the partnership with Jin. As you know, ARMY really support the brands the guys sign with. Same with Fred. Smart of both brands to sign Jin...although, as an ARMY, we all know that Jin LOVES Thom Browne. It's been a favorite of his for years.
You didn’t mention that Jin also became the first global ambassador for FRED jewelry after returning from military.

Lisa “dating” one of LVMH heir.. then became LV ambassador but I like LV fashion is waayyy more gorgeous than Celine. The rumor could be a PR move or can be real but who cares she got the LV contract & $$$$$.
Dating doesn't mean they need to be the Ambassador. It was her Hard work and her style

Male fashion market is limited. Male idols can have activities with brand but still limited compared to female idols. Girl fans are majority having limit to buy guys clothes. So it could depend on financial benefit negotiations as majority.

LISA is a huge artist. She probably suits this brand. Probably brands use FAMOUS artists to promote them. LV is using Lisa In their common way just for promoting not for Fred!
