Then we're thrown into a lighter, but not at all happier interlude about a grieving mother. One thing that really stands out to me is the almost ragtime beat in your intro and outro of "It's Been So Long". It's jangling to me, as though a puppet is dropping and dancing robotically through the nighttime halls. Your mashup for the latter two songs were great too, bringing an oddly classic touch to the thematically awful "Die in a Fire" before barreling into the heavy minute-by-minute survival of "I Got No Time". The passion in this medley is legit, thanks for sharing it.

Just like what you described. Harder the force of impact on the keys, the louder the sound is (or the rougher if it is fast and hard) Softer would make the sound quieter as the hammers inside the piano hit the string lighter.
basically, a note hit, underneath is a hammer, it hits a string which causes the noise. play softer, the string isnt hit so hard and thus it makes a softer noise. Because of this movement, it is known as a percussion ( hitting) instrument.

Harder the force of impact on the keys, the louder the sound is (or the rougher if it is fast and hard)
Softer would make the sound quieter as the hammers inside the piano hit the string lighter.

basically, a note hit, underneath is a hammer, it hits a string which causes the noise. play softer, the string isnt hit so hard and thus it makes a softer noise. Because of this movement, it is known as a percussion ( hitting) instrument.
