My 95 year old dad a size 7 endoleak 5 years post AAA repair with Stent graft. Original size 5.5. He had terrible back pain which took us to ER. Pain seems to be gone and doctor said it wasn't from endoleak.??. Waiting for a call to be advised what to do. The surgeon sent the disc off to a fellow surgeon for further evaluation. Can an older person continue to decline and pass from this condition when surgery isn't going to be an option?
I am a bit confused you said in the beginning endoleak don't cause rupture then you say most patients that rupture have endoleaks?
