Awesome. This is SO much worth fixing! The old Cat 2406 mechanical engine is so reliable. They certainly don't make them like this any more, so you have something there which will never be made again! Can't wait to see it going!

You have a rare special edition truck. I was on the engineering team that did most of Cab design work. We intended to only manufacture about 100, do not believe we actually sold that many in the end.
I sure hope you get that truck fully restored, that truck is going to be a part of history one day and bc so many people ran them into the ground bc it was “just a freightliner” they are going to be few and far between, at the very least pull that kitty cat out of there and clean her up she would be a good glider motor
I remember when these trucks came out. Im so excited to watch this get rebuilt and put back on the road. And I also worked on allot of those engines. Do your self a big service..only use cat parts...no aftermarket you will be sorry. I seen allot of problems over the yrs from non cat parts especially cracked pistons
are you going to be bringing the trailer home too at some point or just the tractor? the engine sounded good in the previous video except for it over revving, obviously. hope to see it running and driving soon.
Did you ever get that Frightliner FLD120 purring again? It has cat engine in right? Wondering which one, and how much HP/Torgue. Would love see update video on her. Good video keep up good work :)
Уважаемый, когда заводишь дизель после долгого простоя,нужно ТНВД с начало прокачивать чтоб из топливного насоса воздух вышел из пяти литровой канистры временый бак через шланг делают. Унас в России зимой в очень холодную погоду поджигают картон с в трубочку сложенный и подносят к воздуховоду так дизель легче заводится

Those were when freightliner made trucks. The scrap that is out here now is a complete embarrassment to the original freightliner.

Change the diesel filters of the injection pump and change the engine oil and to start it remove the sleeves and add new diesel

First step: Hit it with the pressure washer from head to toe. At least that's what I'd do, makes it a little more pleasant to work on.
