As much as I like Bruni, as he crossed the line, it would have been great to see the celebrations of two young Irish lads who've just beaten their elders. Drone shots not helping.
Why don’t they show more of the winner celebrations with their teams at finish line?. What the UCI worried about a few F-bombs tarnishing their reputation.
Since you introduced this paywall, I've honestly never felt so distanced from this sport. I actually have no idea who is riding and who isn't anymore unless I trawl around different sites for info. I get more content from Bernard, who you also appear to conveniently forget to mention regularly. This whole setup just stinks of rich old men's club now, profit first and everyone else can just pay and put up with it. You claimed this would bring MTB to more people, this was clearly a lie. Everyone I know who has been riding for decades hasn't even watched any of the worlds this year, when we started riding it was all about anyone being able to scare themselves stupid by hurtling down trails on whatever bike they could afford. It feels like that's not the message being given anymore. it's "ride if you can afford it, otherwise make do with watching a 10 min highlight, peasant!" Thank (insert chosen deity here) that there's other stuff to watch elsewhere, it'll be interesting to see if you release viewing figures or if you'll be too embarrassed to show that this setup has done more harm than good....
