Just got a Vosteed Thunderbird last week.Great fit and finish. All it needed was a proper sharpening. Must say the M390 seems to be done right. The only Vosteeds I have that are not my favorite are the Mini Nightshades. Non-existent detent on those but man do they slice. Even the Raccoon Cub I have while being a small knife that thing is a cutting beast. The action is superb. Acorn, another home run. Yeah Vosteed is not messing around.
Very cool. Yeah they do some really good stuff. But I agree with you on the mini nightshade. I do not like it because of the access style lock. But they make some fantastic ones other than that. Thanks
When you hit the box, it reminded me of a time when I hit my other hand with the spine of my knife when flicking it open. Was not fun. That is a great looking knife. The lock is super cool and love the color of that micarta. Thanks for sharing, K.C.

Now that Spyderco patent has expired I'm surprised there is not more top liner locks (compression locks) on the market. This is far and away more superior to the traditional button locks that have been so popular.

I've had the Smock for 2 years now so it is nice to see the butom compression lock on other knives
