Because it rewards people who underperform or sit back for the first 26 races, and gives them a chance to win an entire season championship based off of 10 races. This isn't football. You can't have playoffs in auto racing, because the tracks are completely different from one another, whereas on a football field, they are all on equal terms. It isn't that hard to figure out, sweetie.

Boris was a nobody, a bully who had no business even being in NASCAR. Greg had a CHAMPIONSHIP- Boris had only a terrible reputation and a big mouth.
