The biggest problem with the Sikh community is they themselves don't want to take up film making. When someone else takes an initiative, then everyone starts criticizing. This trend not new, it was very prominent even in the era on early 70s when famous Bollywood actors played Sikh characters to perfection. Its it high time Sikhs change their thinking for good.

Mhaa singh g Tuc bhut sohne lagde o sardar de roop ch.I like u too much.I like ranjit singh g,Mehtab kaur,gurbaksh singh raj kaur and every person of this serial..But u looks very smart in form of sardar.Bilkul punjabi lag rahe o.
Maharaja ranjit singh also has a very good bonding of love with his grand mother mai desa g and they dont show mai g in this serial
i have read up on the history.found it fascinating, the series obviously does not portray the full facts some of it is fictionalised but that is with all shows unless its specifies that it is a documentary!!!!! i just can't believe that Damanpreet is only 14yrs old... he is doing really well as an actor.. i feel he will go a long way in film,TV!

In Sikhism , there was no rule for tilak ceremony and Ranjit singh's one eye was gone when he wa 5 year old due to Chechak ... and lot of mistakes they did. Sikh's ladies are not using hairstyle what they shown in promo. They all cover their head with turban or with chuni (Dupatta).
