Omg- Im so sorry!! That sounds awful- not just the roaches but like what they made you realize. I totally get being scared of being a starving artist aswell. But you got this! Dont worry- you have a whole cheer squad wishing the best for you in each of your comment sections.

An episode about how you journal sounds awesome.. "I'm an artist, I'll take as long as it requires", well spoken indeed. You can't hurry good art, as it must unfold in it's own time.

I´ve also been fighting monsters in my apartment this week but it´s been moths. I found this video to be really relatable. Even the last Las Vegas one eventhough my life is completely different. But you being in Vegas for work reminds me of the Sundays where noone has to work in Germany where I go to the train station to go to work and everyone around me is just enjoying life. Your videos make me think about my own life and what´s important to me and how I wanna spend it, happy to hear about how you are doing and relaxing to watch. All those hours it takes to edit are definitely worth it.

oooo 100K subs!! congrats!! Also, for roaches I heard boric acid is pretty good :) cheap and pretty nontoxic. although make sure Amber doesn't eat it. if she eats a lot of it she can get sick. if you end up doing it and she's prone to eating random stuff, let her sleep in a cage that night if youre cool w that stuff. if not maybe a neighbor.

the same thing happened to me when i was living in brooklyn. for 3 days straight i would wake up to hundreds of huge dead flies all over my room (not roaches, but still scarring). found out they were coming from a loose outlet in the wall.. on its best day, nyc is tough:/ love ur vids, they've been inspiring me to keep pursuing my artistry.

this video is actually really inspirational bc i studied psychology but im also an artist and an aspiring writer and i want to become a therapist some day but i dont want to ever stop doing art. i have conflicting dreams and interests but part of me wants to move to manhattan or brooklyn and fully engage myself with romantizing my art life even if I don’t persue everything. I live outside of the bronx so i can go to the city a lot but i kind of want to live there, idk 💙

i love the jazz you play at the end of all your videos! you should learn to play an instrument haha, you could play in jazz clubs and it would help with acting roles too (another skill yknow?)

You are doing cleaning all wrong which is the reason why you have tiny roaches. Tiny roaches feed on oil. So when you cook, small droplets of oil scatter on the walls, stove, kitchen floor-all over. I don't know how you mop your floors, walls, stove and around the stove area, but what I used to do is I used to mix some detergent powder to the cleaning water for moping the floor of the entire apartment. For the stove and the area around with oil droplets, I used to wet a cleaning cloth with dishwashing liquid , wipe the affected areas down, wet it again and wipe it down several times. You have to cut off the oil from everywhere. Disinfecting wet wipes works too if it is able to cut oil. You have to do the same to every area which comes in contact with oil droplets everytime you cook. You might wanna wear rubber gloves to do it to prevent damaging your skin and nails. This is the only solution and there's nothing else you can do. Also, you have to clean your entire apartment including the window panes using similar methods because these roaches catch oil on their tiny legs as they navigate around. You can not leave dirty dishes in the sink for long or overnight. You have to use airtight organic waste bins

    4. Research Cockroach best gels and baits, i.e. Advion 383290.
Sprays are useless. Expect it to take weeks or even months to break the brown German Cockroach life cycle especially if your neighbors are pigs. More expensive gels/baits address that issue.
    5. In addition to food roaches are attracted to water. Concentrate first on the kitchen then the bathroom, one room at a time.
Boric acid works but has to be places where Amber can't get at. Put powder high up or in walls.
You need to start baiting *A.S.A.P.*
If you're going to be gone for September whoever is watching the apartment needs to continuously clean and bait. The longer you wait the worst the infestation, the harder it will be to get rid of the roaches.
If feasible hire a professional exterminator. It'll be worth your health and peace.
    6. Please stop reading self-help books. They're written to create anxiety, self-doubt and unhappiness so you buy more more toxic books.
oh yea, best, no schist :)
