    I dont understand whats so cool about a loud exhaust. A bike can sound nice but too load is just annoying for others around you and you surely get pissed if some Idiot with a loud bike drives by your house or Kids. I think the fines for illegal exhaust should be much higher, Best would be a month salary.

      I agree with you. I prefer when it's just got a nice rumble sound to it not to quiet when completely stock. But say like an aftermarket exhaust with the baffle in. I think some bikes are excessively loud without the baffle and annoy people. This will cause people to complain and they will eventually bring a law out for loud exhausts and will ruin it for the rest of us.

      Gotta be loud as hell

    Anything over 300cc should run a straight / open drag pipe, Loud and proud. More 4wheeler/bike collisions have been avoided due to loud exhaust pipes. If they can hear you they will be looking for you.
    Most bikes up to 300cc spend most of their life off road.. I'm working on putting a patch into production.
    "LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES"
    I've lost way too many family and friends due to car/bike
    Crashes. Ride safe !!!!!!

      +Bikes & Drones I probably should have gotten off the bike and dropped my helmet a bit behind the bike in the tunnel to get a better audio of it. The Akra doesnt completely eliminate the "diesel engine" sound from the piston part of the bike, but its pretty good and legal....Well, if I run with the dB killer inserted that is. :)

    Nice versus view, & the Akra w/o Baffle,

      +Dracati Ducati Yes, finally more sound from the exhaust than from the piston & cylinder. It really did sound like a diesel engine...

      +Lightemup2005 I'm going out to the shed now to get rid of that baffle. I managed 195kmh at the Phillip Island race track. LC4 rules all!!!!!

    is it SS, stainless steel or titanium exhaust for Akrapovic?
    been surprised to hear kind bulked sound from Akrapovic on bigger bike, could explain been used SS/Stainless Steel set, it is longer lasting but sounds more bulk .) thicker pipe work on SS against TT

    • @Lightemup2005

    How did u took off the db killer?

      Drilled the rivet out

    • @maurizio6487
      @maurizio6487 7 лет назад

      Lightemup2005 and where is that rivet is? I cannot found mine

    • @Lightemup2005
      @Lightemup2005  7 лет назад

      On the carbon rear part of the Akra on the wheel side, there is a hole. Inside the hole, there is a rivet, that holds the db killer in place. Take the entire exhaust off. Drill the rivet out. Take db killer out. On the inside of the db killer, weld a nut onto it. Then you can install the db killer again, if needed, with a bolt through the hole, you drilled, to get the rivet out. At least that's how my shop did it for me, when I asked them to.
