he WAS tired, and DID need to rest! Poor kid had a fever and was very sick during this competition! And he did the jumps in the Gala for his fans, and the people who believe in him-to show them he COULD do those elements, and that the LP 'misses' were just that-NOT an undertrained, poorly prepared athlete! He put this effort out for US/ THAT is why I love Alyosha, and always will. I miss him here in the States..
