I think the problem was that they didn't move her head around and the head is just locked in place while tiltilng up and down and the body is moving too. It doesn't look natural.

I totally agree. Launch epic skins tend to have extra lines thrown in anyway so they could totally have done it. And if they really wanted to release all three versions they easily could have just used the variant system in the shop they already have for multi-skin releases like Dark/Cosmic Lux where you get a discount if you own one
Because this champ is literally the embodiment of what K/DA is but canonically, just like it makes sense to give Morgana the legenday coven skin since she is literally gothic themed even outside the skinline. There is also no limit to Sera's marketting potential since she can release several songs throughout the year unlike KDA which is seasonal. It's not that hard to understand. And they already have a prestige so I really don't see how you can complain. It just makes sense, whether you like sera or not.
Her head in the Indie Form splash still feels weird, it looks like it was just pasted there, and the movements feel so unnatural. That one frame blinking is also very unsettling. Friendly reminder, her ultimate skin is basically a legendary skin with 3 chromas to choose from.
Honestly just stop making ultimate skins, modern legendaries (most, looking at you recycled animations legendary skins) are really good and ultimate gimmicks that won't surpass lux anyway since they would "break the game" are not worth the high price point
Agreed I think they should split this legendary skin like they did in wild rift and then be done with ultimate skins entirely. Like ultimate skins can be thier own thing. But the moment we all start saying yes to these shitty skin bundle the moment riot will get extermly fucking greedy and Rob us of legendary skins behind a bundle pay wall, this needs to flop to send a message.
for the last Ultimate, they should make it where instead of it being an Elementalist Lux rip off have it as a skin that affects the map more than anything. an example say a grave lord skin that makes the minions and jg camps on that player's side of the map look like stuff from Twisted Treeline.

They stated that they won't make another ultimate skin similar to lux or ezreal or miss fortune because it wastes to much memory therefore it can cause issues per game played therefore if someone has a garbage computer they could experience lag/fps issues due to the skins. Therefore they said they won't do another skin like transformable skins again.
I had genuine hope in Riot that they would possibly even delay Seraphine's release or maybe even this skin to consider the community's feedback and work on changes. After not hearing much of Seraphine, I honestly thought it was the case. Pretty sure most people would agree that a delay for quality is better than a rushed(assumption) product. Shame.

It's really the majority.

They stated somewhere at the end of last year/start of this year that 2020 will be focused on making new champions. 2021 however, will be the rework year. I hope they continue that tbh. Tons of old champs need love.

I feel like the theme of a champion being centered around music could have been explored in much more interesting ways. Maybe they could have explored different music genres, or maybe the evolution of music through time. Instead we get this incredibly underwhelming epic skin bundle for a champion that resembles every other slim, white, female character in the game. Seems like a missed opportunity is all.

I Haven't heard the Made me this way cover so I wouldn't for this. And for superstar they're using part of the future K/DA song which is being teased on Twitter.

they're NPCs, who are following hate trends, a lot of decently large content creators basically kept bringing up the same points over and over again and as influencers have sown the seeds of perma-hatred towards particular champions. I just installed the game 2 days ago to play with my fiance after years and years of not wanting to play it (toxic friends). My first chest had this skin (and it's also my first skin). Needless to say my fiance is super jelly and now I'm learning Seraphine ✌️ You get so many blue essence for being a newb and completing the tutorials.
i think thats why, this skins are much better than the "Base" skin, this got sooo much more atencion than the Principall one from riot, and, the price, all champs this times always gets an epic skin in their release, but now this getting an ultimate out of nowhere, was definitly something not everyone liked

There were far better suggestions for her, that she got Isekai-ed, that she knows what she's doing to Skarner and his people is wrong, nope, you know how people feel about industry plants? @@KhadaJhin04 suqling (an artist at riot) does occasional seraphine sketches where instead of being that bubbly pink pop star she hiss in the shadows and tries to help people like orianna and she also tests Camille’s will in one of them. Suqling presents seraphines in game character as a show face like she IS the performance instead of just the music and her real personality is more of a driving force in piltover and zaun. I love seraphine regardless for more personal reasons but I wish riot would dove more into the other aspects of her character, the more human side

In terms of visual effects the first version of the skin has the best effects. I find it absurd for Riot to sell three legendary skins in a "pack" announcing that it is an ultimate. This must be one of the biggest reasons that a good part of the community is disowning it (the other would be for the personality of an empty vase and the kit of a lot of character)
90% of champs in league have 1D or 2D personality meant to be a blank slate for a gamer to fill in the blanks. Look at Vex, Tristana, Tryndamere even Jhin to some extent tbh. Sure, Jhin's visuals are pretty and the concept is extremely well executed, but besides being a psychopath with an art sense, he doesnt really have anything else going for him. Unless you count the novels, which Seraphine also has.
I'm actually in love with Seraphine and her optimistic mind. She's not just a girl, she's a girl with some ambitions, baby. I got her K/DA skin from my fiance for no reason and now i'm doing my best supporting him, thank you riot, i'm happy
maybe to make this feel more ultimate-y, the skin should change the theme of her ally base? like imagine if it looked like a really messy garage as indie, an outdoor stage (like her splash art) as rising star, and like the stage on top of the skyscraper in the more mv when she's on superstar. and when enemies are in your side of the map (or in ur base), her passive music plays for them too. i mean it would take up less space and energy to make compared to elementalist lux' changing forms right??

Because this champ is literally the embodiment of what K/DA is but canonically, just like it makes sense to give Morgana the legenday coven skin since she is literally gothic themed even outside the skinline. There is also no limit to Sera's marketting potential since she can release several songs throughout the year unlike KDA which is seasonal. It's not that hard to understand. And they already have a prestige so I really don't see how you can complain. It just makes sense, whether you like sera or not.
Her head in the Indie Form splash still feels weird, it looks like it was just pasted there, and the movements feel so unnatural. That one frame blinking is also very unsettling.
Friendly reminder, her ultimate skin is basically a legendary skin with 3 chromas to choose from.
Honestly just stop making ultimate skins, modern legendaries (most, looking at you recycled animations legendary skins) are really good and ultimate gimmicks that won't surpass lux anyway since they would "break the game" are not worth the high price point

Despite Seraphine doesn't even walk, all her moving animations seem plastic, genshin impact has better fighting animations than Seraphine. It's easier to say what's ok with this ultimate, because in term what's ok, there's nothing ok.

They stated somewhere at the end of last year/start of this year that 2020 will be focused on making new champions. 2021 however, will be the rework year. I hope they continue that tbh. Tons of old champs need love.

I feel like the theme of a champion being centered around music could have been explored in much more interesting ways. Maybe they could have explored different music genres, or maybe the evolution of music through time. Instead we get this incredibly underwhelming epic skin bundle for a champion that resembles every other slim, white, female character in the game. Seems like a missed opportunity is all.
Riot always misses an opportunity when creating a female champion. All they make is a dollface with slim thick figure, with additionally a big ass/thighs/tiddies with no interesting personality story or whatever.

Suqling presents seraphines in game character as a show face like she IS the performance instead of just the music and her real personality is more of a driving force in piltover and zaun. I love seraphine regardless for more personal reasons but I wish riot would dove more into the other aspects of her character, the more human side

What's wrong with her gameplay? And if you say its too much like Sona you obviously havent played her much because they do not play the same almost at all. Yas and Yone are more similar than Sona and Sera and nobody bitched about that.
In terms of visual effects the first version of the skin has the best effects. I find it absurd for Riot to sell three legendary skins in a "pack" announcing that it is an ultimate. This must be one of the biggest reasons that a good part of the community is disowning it (the other would be for the personality of an empty vase and the kit of a lot of character)

90% of champs in league have 1D or 2D personality meant to be a blank slate for a gamer to fill in the blanks. Look at Vex, Tristana, Tryndamere even Jhin to some extent tbh. Sure, Jhin's visuals are pretty and the concept is extremely well executed, but besides being a psychopath with an art sense, he doesnt really have anything else going for him. Unless you count the novels, which Seraphine also has.

I’m sure that as much as people complain, it’s the vocal minority. I don’t like it either, but I doubt the majority of the league scene (that riot is obviously going to cater for vs the harsh crowd that is Reddit/YT) is going to care and will purchase this as much as any other
