I just love your intro from the gondola. You must have started really early to cover all that terrain. Always go up on July 1 . Never been able to hike flute bowl . Not open yet. Maybe next year should go in August. By the way who use the hut and where about it is located ? Keep it up , your adventures are Amazing......
The hut is located just above Russet Lake. It is managed by the spearhead huts society and can be used by hikers/mountaineers in the summer and ski tourers/splitboarders in the winter. It can be booked online. Early/Mid August is definitely the best bet for the snow to be melted :)
I can’t recall. We loaded the gondola around 9:30 and hiked up harmony instead of riding up peak chair. We made it back before the gondola closed at 5. So maybe 6 and a half hours or less
