one thing I observed that Daniels wife was just suffering in silence. She has no one to talk to. Her husband is a man of himself, no authority over him and as such she has no one to hold him accountable when she suspected he is making the wrong decisions. It is dangerous to not have any oversight over you and more dangerous to marry a man who listens to no one but himself. I believe if there was an authority over Daniel, that would have helped in making him come to his senses before it was too late.
I have watched the movie and actually the mad man scene was a bit confusing, if God did speak to Daniel through the mad man what else could he have done nor waiting to do if not to carry out the task immediately? Could it be the spirit of deception that spoke through the mad man? I didn't like how it ended, it was so sad😢
Me too. I don't like the way it ended with Daniel's wife dying and Prophet Kofi escaping. If it was God speaking to Daniel through the mad man, he should have waited in the place of prayers for confirmation and direction. He didn't have to leave immediately without first hearing from God. The Lord can say you will be a great pastor, but you have to enquire of him to know when is the right time to start, what you need to do to prepare, and where you'll be pastoring. God is a God of timing. He could say something, but if he doesn't say it's going to happen now, there's no need to rush. God prepares us for what he has prepared for us before giving the go ahead for us to move. Also, about the spirit of deception, I can't really say. Because we don't really know. However, I agree that it maybe deception, but on another hand it could be from God, then the devil manipulated things and made Kofi call him at that same time to derail him from God's part. Because, sometimes not every open door is the right door for you. You can get an offer to study abroad, and be excited about it. It's a good thing, but it may not be what the Lord destined for you. That's why the scriptures say "in all your ways, acknowledge him, and he'll direct your path." I'm sure if he sought God's face before going to join prophet Kofi, he'd have known not to go. May God help us not to be in a hurry to make decisions that we leave him aside. Amen.
