I just don’t understand why people have the mentality that if you liked Bohemian Rhapsody, you can’t like Rocketman. They’re completely different movies, different artists, and different stories. And even if they weren’t, why can’t you like both? It just doesn’t make sense to me why people are so eager to pit one against the other.

He is so sweet and adorable. He was fantastic in the film. The way he interprets Elton in his different stages of his life was phenomenal. His singing was amazing. I think he needs to be working on a draft for awards he will be getting.

Hello from Georgia, USA. When I read that Taron Egerton was going to play Elton John in Rocket Man, I did a double take. However, all I had to do was watch him singing Rocket Man on RUclips to hook me. His voice is so pure. I had only seen him in the Kingsmen and that role is so very different. I am looking forward to May 31 to see the film open in my local theatre. It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a film's opening. I've got to buy a Rocket Man tee shirt as well! Thank you Taron and Elton and Paramount!

Literally when he said he didn’t feel like a real person until you meet him I relate to that so hard when I saw him front row at the front of the stage on Saturday it was so real and it was like I thought he was an imaginary friend it’s crazy and I’m so glad I got to see him

The respect Taron has for Elton is so sweet, probably made more intense for Taron after playing the part of Elton as he would have to study Elton’s mannerisms etc! Taron has a friend for life in Elton, lucky boy Taron! Elton said in one interview that he would make sure Taron didn’t make the same mistake he did and you know that Elton means it too! What better guardian angel could there be than Elton!

Weird how he doesn't get the credit he deserves compared to his English collegues! The only film he's been in that came out average was Robin Hood.
He won't get any credit for Rocketman either....simple reason is the fact Bohemian Rhapsody has already came out, and alot of people have the minds of children. Such as saying how they copied them and all that nonsense.

Naw Elton’s is like part musical which a lot different and the trailer has been amazing soo maybe theirs a chance !!!!
I was on set as an extra (along with about 150 of us) for two days. We were meant to be on set for eight days, but after two days they cancelled us all. There were rumours for why it happened, but unfortunately we can't talk about it because of NDAs.
Either way, Rocketman is different from Bohemian Rhapsody - the audience it's targeting is also different. So they aren't competing with each other at all. Elton John has a huge following, just like Queen, so the film will do well regardless of whether BoRap came out of not.
