I am so impressed with a number of things. Kirsten, I appreciate your opening your heart and spirit for other athletes, other skaters. It is so important to be in touch with where you are in your life journey. It is so helpful for our skates to know that they need to be true to themselves where their health, mental health and their dreams and desires are concerned. It is hard, especially in a team but also coaches family, etc...
Michael, it must be difficult when your goals or dreams diverge from your partner, for whatever reason. You are setting a great example for other skaters. You cannot make another feel something, do something, be healthier than they are, be in a different place than they are. In life or sport, this is true. That said, you have to now get in touch with your dreams, etc.
Best wishes to you both. Great show, everyone.

Pity, they had a real shot at a medal and Russia will likely be banned next year too and maybe longer pending a real investigation into Kamila's team. I get her anxiety as their twist as a viewer scares me. Would love to see them back but self-care matters most. And respect also to Simone for opening the door for other athletes to be honest about their struggles.

There’s something more going on with Kirsten.
    It’s bizarre.

If they ever had a chance at a medal it was this year because of withdrawals and bannings,,,I bet Michael is pissed, privately.
