Aswad wasn't toxic or a bad person, he was too much manipulated into Mashal's madeup stories which clearly shown him Mehreen as negative and Mashal as positive person. As far as Mehreen is concerned, many people questioned why Mehreen stayed with Aswad after all that toxic abuse, they didn't understand that Mehreen was going through Stockholm Syndrome (mentioned in drama) where a person starts having empathy for his abuser and she was also going through PTSD where past traumas doesn't allow person to take new steps in life, even if Aswad was abusive still... he was his childhood only bestfriend, her father committed suicide in front of her, her mother left her during her childhood, she was afraid of being abandoned by Aswad too, she doesn't have any backup, if she took divorce where she will go? To her chachi's house who are her enemies? PLUS Aswad was his cousin, bestfriend and childhood crush how can she left him easily?
