    At 55psi the circuit will closed and at 30 psi the circuit will open to protect the compressor, due to the low pressure.

    Instead of Removing wire if you switch off condenser fan high pressure going increase then safety switch work perfectly..in same way if you can close high pressure line value then you get low pressure in that way u can check in real time your low pressure switch work perfectly.. this is how we do ..
    This is my opinion only ..u are doing great work..

      Sounds like you are taking about short cycling! And in this particular system it has a manual reset high pressure switch and an additional lockout relay, so any trips from either low or high pressures would require someone to physically reset compressor or restart the system

    • @D2DNYAC
      @D2DNYAC  9 дней назад

      By itself without any installed lock out relay or anti short cycling timer the compressor would short cycle

    • @HelloThere-jr6gd
      @HelloThere-jr6gd 3 года назад

      Because if your system does pull a high head pressure or a very low suction pressure the system wont shut off and it will ruin your compressor. Only bypass it if its temporary and you are coming back to fix it later. Dont leave it bypassed.

    • @D2DNYAC
      @D2DNYAC  3 года назад +1

      It’s not dangerous to one that operates however if you bypass the high pressure switch you can definitely ruin your compressor bypassing the low pressure switch isn’t too bad however you can still ruin your compressor if the system freezes up and slug liquid refrigerant back to compressor. If you must only do it during troubleshooting or in an emergency if the switch or switches is faulty and system pressures are okay. And return and remedy ASAP.

    Worked in refineries and chemical plants most of my life, you're not allowed to wear watches or rings of any kind or Jewelry period . Doesn't matter your rank or craft. Those Blue Gloves and grabbing HOT WIRES are going to get this guy killed. Yes I am an expert, Senior V.P. Engineering (retired). Couldn't get past the safety issues here to watch the video for content. Had he been one of my employees he would have been suspended until he attended required safety classes.

      Hey 👋 thanks for stopping by! 🤔l understand and knows all the risks involved with the job however things are different inside of a plant that’s a controlled environment out here in HVAC you are going to have to troubleshoot live circuits and I have yet to see anyone got suited up to do so., I am a pro and knows and understand what I am doing and I can assure you after 17 yrs in the industry I will not be killed by the HVAC trade craft🤫😂
